Remarks

In my opinion Aligarh Muslim University is best for all students, there are many rumors about the university but believe me they all are just fake, there is complete unity in students and no any case of racism, sexism and any discrimination.

Entrance Preview

For admission in this university you have to face an entrance examination in some courses there are interview followed by the entrance examination (You only have to face interview if you qualified the entrance examination). I personally opt this college because it is the only university which offers such a great facility in such lower cost and very few central universities in India offers Bachelor in Communicative English.

University is clean and student friendly environment.Gender ratio is just perfect. There's specialized lab for required subjects, each faculty conduct their competition and sports fest is common in university. Sherwani is worn by male students of the university and is a traditional attire of the university. It is required to be worn during official programs In early 2013, Zameer Uddin Shah stoked a controversy by insisting that male students have to wear sherwani if they wanted to meet him. Clubs and societies Edit Sports and cultural activities are executed by various clubs available in the campus. Notable ones include the oldest, Cricket club,Horse riding club and amu drama club.

Alumni network is very strong and senior students are always in touch with their juniors. They are very helpful

Exam Structure

CBCS pattern. Our university follow the latest UGC curriculum. This is a uniform CBCS for all central and state and other recognised universities. • There are three main courses: Core, Elective and Foundation. • There are also non-credit courses available which will be assessed as ‘Satisfactory’ or “Unsatisfactory”. This is not included in the computation of SGPA/CGPA. • All the three main courses will be evaluated and accessed to provide for an effective and balanced result.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I wanted to become an English Professor, the course really helped me a lot in getting an insight into English Literature. The professors are very encouraging. The curriculum not only relies on the traditional method of teaching but also various co curricular activities are conducted to prepare the students for the real world. Each student is given an opportunity to prove herself. As the exams are conducted annually we get a lot of time to prepare accordingly.
