Likes

The clubs are very interactive and fun making extra curricular actives fun as everyone has to be part of one club minimum.
The course is adjusted to CIMA syllabus so I dont have to study separately for my CIMA exams.
College has a good placement cell that helps all the students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course has CIMA syllabus integrated and we need to write only 3 out of the 13 exams of CIMA as we get 10 exemptions. There is an exam (either mid sems or end sems) every 3-4 months. Difficulty level - Medium.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 210000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Milano, Gud Gum, SportsCentric, SuprMentor, BusinessSherpa, RS Academy, and many other companies offer internships with major focus on accounting, business logistics and content creation. Helps shape the student into an entrepreneur by teaching core values of business such as Finance, Marketing and Operations.

Placement Experience

There is good placement from my college nearly 100% and my course certifies my placement as I am doing CIMA and BBA giving me an edge above my peers. After i get my degree i would persue my dreams in the corporate world for a while and then start my own start up.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition + Admission + Registration Fees = 225000 Additional fee ( CIMA exam fee) = 80000 Students from different categories, such as SC/ST etc, may have a different fee structure. However, I do not have access to all that data

Campus Life

The college clubs are amazing, I am part of Entrepreneurship Cell as well as Business Team making it very interactive and fun. I learn a lot about Entrepreneurship and Business management through the clubs. We have around 4-5 major fests in a year hosted by major clubs of the college. We have a Sports fest called Speil. There are charging ports on every desk with wifi access for all students

Admission

I did not apply to any other colleges as I wanted to do management accounting with Bachelors in Business Administration and none of the other colleges in Bengaluru had this course so St Josephs College of Commerce matched my needs. Also I am from St Josephs Boys High School, therefore most of my batchmates joined SJCC making it more familiar to me. There was an enterance exam followed with a group discussion round followed by a personal interview.

Faculty

We have 6 subjects every semester, including 2 language subjects. 2 exams per semester, Mid sems and end sems End semester score calculations- 80 marks written + 20 marks ( 10 from mid sems + 10 CIA) The exams are very straightforward and thought provoking as we have CIMA syllabus integrated into our course so every semester exam we write is equal to clearing one level of CIMA Best Faculty in my opinion - Mr. Kushal Parwani

Night Life

The college is on brigade road one of the most premium streets in Bengaluru as it was established during the british era we have a lot of things around the college, food, gyms, librarys, clubs and parks. Usually after college we have sandwiches at Hari's and enjoy milkshakes at Chetta's

ISME college BBA Review

Likes

The environment in the college is really good, there is no ragging and discipline is taken seriously
The facilities provided by the college like auditorium, library, amphitheatre, labs, classroom with smartboards and proper internet connection
The faculty here are really understanding and provide real life examples which makes learning easier and way more fun

Dislikes

Attendance is mandatory in the college which includes having atleast 75% of attendance.
There is a dresscode in college and we have to dress in formal attire only
College is far from house which makes it difficult to reach on time if traffic is there

Placement Experience:

There are 240+ companies that come for placements which include Deloitte, KPMG, Neolntelli, Grant Thornton, etc.. There are few students who even opt for going to further studies instead of getting placed... The highest package offered is 9LPA whereas the average package is around 6LPA.

Likes

I like the campus So much the infrastructure . They have amphitheater where we can sit and enjoy the nature ,the fresh air and students also meet up which helps in networking
I like the faculties here, they are so polite and good teachers who help us in studies whenever I need. They are easily approachable
I like the facilities that are provided here like foods, cleanliness, hygiene, faculties behavior

Dislikes

I don't like the strict rules like attendance have to 75 above

Placement Experience:

In our college we get placement from 5th semester there are 240 companies where student gets placement like big 4 companies, infosys,google,etc In our college 80%- 90% students get placed but other students go for higher studies after their bachelor After getting my bachelor degreeI will get a job

ISME Review

Likes

The faculty is very friendly and always encourage us to speak up in class and be more confident.
There are a lot of events that take place, most of which are conducted by students themselves.
The hostel is located in the campus itself so it makes going and coming quicker and safer too.

Dislikes

The attendance is very strict about attendance
The classes can feel tiring especially if you aren't habituated to sitting for more than one hour in one place

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year that is during the 5th semester. Many companies such as Deloitte, Infosys, Grant Thornton, EY as well as Goorej are some of the most prominent industries. There is also a one week immersion with IIM Bangalore as well as a 10 day program in Singapore.

Likes

We have faculties who take interest in teaching students and they provide relatable examples
The dress code is not as strict as in other colleges.
Awesome infrastructure and presence of greenery everywhere in the campus

Dislikes

Hectic schedules and classes from morning till evening
Not enough interval between the classes.
No playground, stationary shops and not enough printing availability within the campus

Placement Experience:

The average placement salary is 900000 rupees for BBA and BCom. They have placement cell for training the students to get placed in very good companies. Nearly 154 companies come to ISME for placement. Some students prefer to do their post graduate course abroad

Likes

The fees structure is very affordable for me and the fees for this kind of quality education is what I would really appreciate.
The intership opportunities and the placement records is also a very distinctive thing of our college
The faculty is very approachable and experienced and teach us real world skills along with the academics.

Dislikes

The college is very disciplined in terms of attendance and it is mandatory to maintain 75% attendance

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities from our college are amazing as the average package is around 700000 and the highest is around 900000. We even have a lot of value added certification couses which will give a boost to our CV. Many renowned companies such has Grand Throthon and the BIG four companies have came for placements.

The location advantage is something you can't afford to miss, as in Bengaluru you always have loads of opportunities
The campus and its ambience is one of the beast you can locate in the bengaluru proximity. It is safe, sound and enjoyful.
The mentors, teachers are very approachable and always ready to help you whenever needed.

Dislikes

Discipline is a factor which will always be in count here and you need to have a attendence above 75%.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is excellent there is 100% record of those students who choose to sit for the interviews or jobs. The average package for BBA is 7,00,000 and highest is 9,00,000. The big companies that visit are Delloite, KPMG etc.

The first thing i love the infrastructure of ISME and then the facultys and then also the batch size is less which we are getting personalized attention and more
The campus life is modern and it feels good and everyone in the campus are friendly and worth to make new connections.
The placement in ISME is good as a business school and they also have tied up with more top companies like KPMG etc...and the placement here is totally good

Dislikes

The only thing i disliked from my personal experience in ISME is attendance...because this attendance is soo mandatory here and strict in attendance
Also the campus is slightly far away when you are from the city

Placement Experience:

The placement in our collage is actually good ...even ug students who want to get a job after ug...isme is placeing the ug also in top companies and the placement here is really good and most of them getting placed in top companies

The quality of the infrastructure, including campus amenities and learning facilities is very good

Dislikes

Most of the teachers are freshers and not have experience on teaching domain.
Syllabus does not have depth and clarity
course curriculum to your personal and professional development is highly poor

Placement Experience:

In my course 3,4 and 6th semesters are internshisp amd it's mandatory to do. For the placement department has track record and very effective. I'm planning to move on hospitality field and taking interview.

Academic Excellence: The College Offers Multiple Range Of Course For The Streams And Programmes the college staff is also very knowledgeable and some members are also so helpful that coordinate with students and help them meet the modern technology
Values and Character Building: St. Aloysius College places significant emphasis on character development, ethics, and social responsibility. The focus on values, social service, and community involvement enhances the overall student experience.
Extracurricular Activities :- The college also organised a variety range of cultural activities and various clubs were formed which organised a variety of events and fest that is also helpful as a part of experience in this stream .

Dislikes

Placement Opportunities:- while the college does not offer a placement support expanding their network with various industries and provide more carrier opportunity should be helpful but the placement is not as we want lack of career counseling.
Modernization :- Continuous improvement in the technology is needed for better learning and also for proper knowledge of the students the labs need to be updated with new technology
Infrastructure and Area :- The Infrastructure needs to be expanded in both the field that is sports and the learning providing suitable area for sports activities and equipment for students is also needed to focus on their activities as well.

Placement Experience:

Talking about The Campus Placement Of St. Aloysius College, the students are eligible to sit in the campus placement after the end of their 5th Semester. The Eligibility requirements that the students need to fulfill for the placement are:- 1. Students need to pass every Semester With no Exam, or we can say ATKT. 2. Students With 7.5 CGPA in their Past Semester Are Only Eligible For Sitting In The Campus Placement. The Highest Package Of My Stream last Year was from The Finance Stram that is Of 3,00,000 Per Annum and the Average Package Is 1,50,000 Per Annum . Every Year, 45% of the students get the placement.

Gardencity University from the perspective of a student

Likes

I love the campus it has lots of figurines, and visuals etc
The canteen is really great looking and serves awesome food
There's sitting area almost everywhere and washrooms everywhere for convenience.

Dislikes

Washrooms are a bit dirty and unclean sometimes.
The canteen food was sometimes found to give food poisoning to students.
Campus is too small, cud be bigger to take strolls

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester which is the second last semester. Infosys, Indigo, Aditya Birla, Wipro, IBM, TCS, Cipla, and Domino's have visited the clg as far as I remember. The median package awarded to UG (3 years) and PG (2 years) during placements 2022 stood at INR 4.5 LPA and INR 7.5 LPA Garden City University placed 146 PG (2 years) and 388 UG (3 years) students overall. I wanna open my own restaurant chain after degree.

My experience in SJCC

This course was based fully on the marks you've got in 12th, I applied to Christ and didn't go for the entrance exam because I didn't want to go to Christ it's far from my house and didn't wish to travel that distance, so yeah I didn't get rejected anywhere.
