St Joseph's College of Commerce

I opted the course because of pursuing CA. Bcom Regular basically constitutes all the subjects that are present in CA course. These subject has made us prolific in certain areas. It has also prepared us for many real world situations and exams. We are even given seminars every week and have to make PPT's .

The fees structure for different courses are different. For Bcom Regular the fee structure is 77000 for the 1st year, 76000 for the second year and 75000 for the final year. The fee structure of Bcom and BBA is different and varies from year to year. Further there are scholarships which are provided to Christian Catholic Students. Many financial aids are also given to catholic students.

Dhwani and kalotsav are two main fests organised in SJCC. There is a huge library in SJCC where you can find books of all genres. I sports SJCC has always produced the finest. SJCC provides the best support and training to its students. There are many clubs and associations in SJCC and I am part of the quiz club. These clubs have a huge impact on student's social life.

I had applied for SJCC, Christ and Jain. I got the admission form in all three colleges. But I opted SJCC because of its timings and relevance of the course. To get into Bcom Regular(morning shift), the cutoff is 96% and after that there is a personal interview about the subjects and personal details. After this you will get a admission form and fee payment link and you have to make payment within 48 hours.

The college has some good facilities and they are well versed in their respective areas. There are around 70-80 staffs in the college. There are two lectures I like in college, Merwin sir and Ashok sir. I like their teachings and they make sure that everything is understood. Every sem has a mid sem exam and an end sem. There are CIA which are conducted in class for internal markings.

There's no need for me to explain this part. SJCC is known for the nightlife and fun, as it is located in Brigade road, it is surrounded by all the pubs and clubs. An outsider might find it interesting but not us. Being a Josephite or best hangout place is the OG Chetas cafe and Olive cafe. There is even Go Chick which we ????.
