What Students Say
Likes
- The environment, very friendly student council.
- Fearing opportunities- a lot of fests are organised and we can participate in other colleges fest as well
- Freedom to choose in the extra curricular activities
Dislikes
- Some people in the college are not well behaved
- A few teachers are too strict and do not listen to our needs
- Small campus we have only one ground and one basketball court both small size
Course Curriculum Overview
Integration with Tata consultancy services is the reason behind taking up this course, the curriculum is drafted in a way we learn public specking and learn to socialise and make connections with others, they can improve the curriculum in additional English, learning about LGBTQ+ does not make sense to me, I don't see where it helps us
Placement Experience
Placements are good. There are a lot of companies coming in on a daily basis at the end of the sem for the 3rd years, 2nd and 3rd years are eligible for campus placement, 3rd year is given more importance. Tcs, Accenture, Deloitte , KPMG, JPMC, PHONE-PE, Goldman Sachs's, EY are few companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
101722 was the full fee for 1st year degree including 5000 for additional English, other language did not have this fee, except this there was another 500 exam fee that we had to pay. There was scholarship from college as well as govt to the people who needed it, the fee structure has been almost the same not much difference in the past years.
Campus Life
There's kalotsav at the beginning of the year. A good chance to get to know each other in class to make friends and participate in the events, then there's other fests which other college students can participate in, there's a bunch of financial events like finquest for finance, bpm for industry etc. all sports activities are encouraged. There's a huge library with most popular books and necessary books for the students. The student council is the only student run social group they represent the students as a whole
Admission
This course was based fully on the marks you've got in 12th, I applied to Christ and didn't go for the entrance exam because I didn't want to go to Christ it's far from my house and didn't wish to travel that distance, so yeah I didn't get rejected anywhere. Admission was easy we had to submit our marks as soon as it comes and they will give seats based on the cut off
Faculty
Faculty members are very friendly our class teacher was one of the heads of international relations, in our course we study about tcs in the second year not more like study but it is an integration so we will be working there. We have had only one exam for CIA and the semi finals in the end of the sem it's not that tough considering we are 1st years and it's very much connected to the course curriculum
