Course Curriculum Overview
The course and circulumn are upto date with the updations every year.The latest courses are updated according to the National Education Policy-2020.The teaching methods are also good with usage of smart devices.The frequency of exams is every two months.
Placement Experience
The campus placements are very good compared to other colleges.There are about 600 companies visiting our campus and students from 5th semester are eligible to be placed.The average pakage is around 13.5LPA and highest around 1.2Cr per annum.

Campus Life
The campus life is very good with very big green and lust campus.We can roam around freely in campus till 1 am in the night.There are as many as 80 clubs on campus and there are 4 fests happening every year, one from each of the four societies
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility at NIT rourkela is average to good with very cheap prices.There is seperateess for almost every hostel with decent food consisting of both vegetarian and non vegetarian.The campus has around 11 hostels,2 for female,7 for male and 2 for married students.
Admission
I choose my college according to the National Institution Ranking Frameworks ranking which is very high about 37 in overall category and 18 in engineering category.The admission is taken through JOSAA/CSAB and DASA counselling.The exam to be written is JEE-Mains
Faculty
The faculty-student ratio at nit rourkela very good around 1:15.The faculty are approachable by students simply by messaging or calling them.The studsnt can also meet faculty in their cabins according to availability.There are two exams per semester which almost 90 percent of students clear.
Interview Experience
The admission is through JEE-mains for which I have prepared in my 11th and 12th classes.The best ranked students in the test go through the JOSAA and CSAB counselling for seat allocation.There was no other GD/PI.
Night Life
The night life in campus is also very good with no restrictions till 1 am in the night.We usually hangout near the golden jublee building till 11 pm and night canteens till 1 am.The library is also open till 11 pm.
