Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in modern industrial trends .one of the keys aspects that influenced my decision to choose CBIT was it's balanced syllabus, which involve industry, relevant subjects, elective courses, and labs. It includes many mini projects and internship opportunities it provides a chance to interact with the outside ones very often. Moreover, they always provide chance for research and innovation through project based learning .there are improvements like more flexibility in choosing subjects like AI Blockchain and cyber security. The exam levels are the moderate to tough.overall, it's good.

Internships Opportunities

4

companies like deeshaw, microsoft, cognida ai and hindustan unilever ltd gives internship oppurtunites. The minimum stipend is 25,000 INR and the maximum is 1,35,000 INR . The projects which are real life oriented are most likely to be selected and the students who have better analytical skills and problem, solving skills get more internships. the companies expect the students to be hard-working and have real life projects in their resume.

Placement Experience

3

the placements in our college are very decent. we get number of companies from India to recruit the students. 6th,7th, 8th semester students are eligible for campus placement. The highest package last year (2024)was 59.9 LPA .the average salary or package is around 4LPA .71% of the students got placed in 2024 there were 1039 placement offers . the companies like Microsoft Amazon factset, oyo, google, goldman sacs. If I get a decent placement, I will work else. I prefer going to Germany to complete my masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly the tution fee is 1,65,000 for any course and every semester we have to pay around 4k to 5k exam fee. for scholarship we have TSEPASS and NSP which we can get.for securing a scholarship we need to show documents required and must have proper grades.for management quota also the fee is same but we have pay a lot to get into this college for management quota.all the categories have the same fee but the students with reumbersement have to pay less or nothing depending on their elegibility.there are no lab fee or other fee except tution fee and exam fee.

Campus Life

5

The campus is very beautiful and we can do a lot of other social and cultural works. We have a cultural fest called Shruti and technical annual fast called Sudhee every. These face are held in the month of February and March. The library is very large, which has many many books related academics and research purpose. There are many clubs like NSS ,Chaya, cinematography club, photography club , writers and poets club , transcendent, MUN club and sports club. All this clubs have students working and improving their soft skills and technical skills which has a good impact on students life, the classrooms have projectors and water filters . every year all sports played by the students to win overall championship trophy.

Hostel Facilities

4

I stay in a rented PG called JURYS near kokapet. the room is big enough to accommodate three people .they provide with 3 meals in a day The room has geezer facility and 24 hours current accessibility. the meals and facilities are very decent compared to other local hostels. it is expensive compares to others hostels, but the quality of food he provides is very satisfying.

Admission

I chose this college over other colleges because for the rank which I got in EAMCET this was the best college I could get and the branch which I wanted was like CSE or allied branches. I applied for other colleges like an NIT ,BITS, VIT ,IIT .I got admission letter from an NIT Bhopal for mechanical engineering, which I don't wanna go .Then talking about the admission process of this college,i wrote TSEMCET and secured rank of 3000 then through online admission process I got into this college .most of the students CSE or IT for which the cutoff should be around 3000 for general candidates and around 5000 for BC candidates and 15 to 20,001st SC ST .the admission process is really simple after the online rounds we go to the college for offline admission process. We submit some of the documents and get our seat secured by paying minimum fee and thus seat will be confirmed.

Faculty

4

in popualr courses like CSE and ECE larger student numbers can sometimes limit individual attention from professors.however the faculty sstudnet relarionship at cbit is generally good. some faculties like Dr ks rao, Dr nsv babu and Dr psk prasad are very good.some faculties are very strict and follow outdated systems of teaching so i dont like such professors. we have two mid exams two lab internals, one final lab external and final sem end exam.these exams are moderate to tough particularly in core subjects.they offer new courses like CSE- AIML, AIDS, CSE-IOT, ROBOTICS ,V LSI, which are new and upcoming tech subjects.though curriculum could be more aligned with modern trendds, cbit strives to updates its offerings to meet industry demands.

Night Life

5

The nightlife in this college is very fun since it is located nearby Gachibowli. We can go to places like DLF food spots and malls. There are gyms cultfit and trend setters.timing of campus is from 8 to 6 PM .the famous spots like NEOPOLIS viewpoint , fly zone trampoline park , one golf. Drive-in are the places to visit during night time. There are many others spots to hang out after the college which can help us relieve from our stress.

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Biotechnology)

There's a lot of intake of students for CSE. 1000 students per year only for core CSE course is a lot of students which reduces the chance of everyone getting placed and affect the quality of education

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays, events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.
