My experience

Application is the first thing as I drew me to choose mechanical engineering.it is applicable throughout vast field as vast opportunities. Mechanical engineering is best branch in vnit to study as there many companies came for placement related to mechanical engineering there. Class test and surprise test is taken in my branch to check the capability of students.

From 3rd year students can apply for internship and there are many companies like TCS,ITC syfosis came here to take students for internship summer intern get approx 1 lakhs for internship they have their selection process cgpa criteria for applying in company they check project of students to check their ability.

From 3rd year students can apply for internship and from 4th year they can apply for placements, so many companies come in college like tcs ,infosys,itc etc.70%studentget placed as 25% students have less cgpa or failed in exams. Highest package is 43LPA average package is 13 LPA and median package is 9 LPA.

We have central India's largest cultural fest aarohi and Asia's 3rd largest tech fest axis .and so many small events .there is sufficient books to study in library approx all type of books are available. Class room have fan and smart board.here sports facilities are too good sports event held in college every year inter nit tournament etc. There are various clubs in college as you like intrested in that field.

In first year there is double sharing room which sufficient for two people 3 cupboard two table two bed two chair one balcony two fan. Mess food is is average it is better in taste we have special lunch on Sunday. Registration process of hostel is done with physical reporting payment of hostel fee done after coming in college.

I applied for nit surathkal mechanical but I didn't get admission in it as my rank is less I got vnit mechanical engineering as on my best rank. It is located in main city of nagpur having nice connectivity. Addmission process is so simple you have to give jee main then apply for jossa counselling select the college after this college will send you physical reporting dates you can come here with your all documents and physical reporting take 3 hours.

We have 18 faculty in mechanical engineering. 1:20 ratio. They are approachable but they will help you when you have genuinely tried problem and wasn't able to do it. For every subject there is one mid sem exam 2 quiz and one end semester exam. Marking scheme is easy. Study mathematics every day as it is very hard to pass in every branch approx 24 students fail in mathematics.

Yes there is gym in our campus having various types of exercising machines.there is 2 canteen in campus and one night canteen in every hostel. For first year hostel in time is 8 pm and 2nd year onwards there is no hostel in time ther is only campus intime which is 10 pm. Here is AMBAZARI lake and futala lake which you can visit outside the campus
