Remarks
I loved my college a lot and really miss it very much. Would love to go back since the environment I got in my college is something which is irreplaceable and really amazing. The faculty, my fellow batch mates etc
Course Curriculum Overview
I think it's a perfect blend of both theoretical understanding as well as practical understanding of various business related concepts. We had various subjects ranging from maths, law, business studies to accounting, financing as well.
Internships Opportunities
We had a placement cell which organised internship fairs. We could sit for various companies that used to be invited to our college and they used to select students on the basis of an interview to check whether the candidate possessed certain qualities in them
Placement Experience
The placement cell was also actively getting companies for placements of the final year students and about 40% of the students were placed during the time I graduated and that was a fair amount considering the strength of our college
College Events
All national events such as republic day, independence day, gandhi jayanti then events like farewell, alumni meet, freshers party, sports day, academic meet, diwali party, annual day, internship fairs
Fee Structure And Facilities
Had to fill in various forms and get them approved by various departments and then had to pay the fees and wait for the admission ticket. It almost took a day properly enroll since it consisted of various forms and various desk counters. The fees is pretty feasible
Fees and Financial Aid
There were no scholarships provided by the college as the college fees was very very less However there were differences on the basis of you being scheduled caste, scheduled tribes, other backward classes etc
Campus Life
There were four labs in total which were bio labs, chem labs, etc. We had a sports room as well which had various equipments and games, we also had a badminton court, basketball court, cricket ground, lawn
Hostel Facilities
There were no hostels in my college. Students coming from outside of the city had to rent accommodations near the college such as paying guest, flats or shared accommodation which was independent of the college fees
Alumni/Alumna
I have not been very involved with that therefore I am not too sure about it however I would like to point out that they organise various programmes to keep in touch with alumni association which is pretty great
Exam Structure
We have two semesters each every year and had new subjects every semester. Had to clear them all in order to pass the semester. The passing marks were 40% each semester. They included both class practicals and final written exams
Admission
Had to fill in various forms and get them approved by various departments and then had to pay the fees and wait for the admission ticket. It almost took a day properly enroll since it consisted of various forms and various desk counters.
Faculty
I think my faculty is pretty good since we had various skilled and experienced professors who made us understand how we should be shaping our careers along with teaching the subject of their expertise.
