- College is good and some extra criculum activities like sports competition, poster presentation competition and other competition are held to improve skills of students.
- Seminars occurs oftenly and provides information about new technologies and innovations are given to the students
- Overall campus is good , faculties and staff is good and campus is clean
Dislikes
- It is far from city so the students who came from bus reach their home at night somehow it wastes their time and causes tiredness and fatigue after travelling
- Lot of burden for students of too many assignment, presentations,poster presentation,charts etc
- If a students forget his or her I'd card so they don't get entry in the campus
Course Curriculum Overview
I purse biotechnology because of my interest in genetic engineering and biology .The curriculum prepare me for the real world application by providing all facilities in lab and performing experiments in lab.The area of improvement is to give chance to all students to perform experiments in lab.
Internships Opportunities
Dev bhoomi uttarakhand university (DBUU)provides internship opportunities to students. I am in 1 year so i don't know about the internship program and the companies those offers internship to students.
Placement Experience
Placement is good enough the highest package of our college is 40LPA and average approximately 12-15 LPA. The companies like rinex,agro star ,Taj hotel Mumbai and another companies visit college for placement of students.My plan after getting the degree is to do masters in biotechnology
Fees and Financial Aid
For my course, the fee is 38k per semester but it includes scholarships like girl child, uttarakhand domicile and on the basis of class 12 percentage (only in 1 year). If your academic performance is good and you maintain attendance of 75% then you got scholarship and the fee will decreases, so it is good opportunity for middle class family to get education in less fee. Admission fee -10k Tution fee -28k(including scholarship) Uniform fee-9900 Other fees like annual fest -2k The fee is less for SC/ST in comparison with general. Some of my batchmate are non-uttarakhandi so their fee is a bit high then mine because of domicile scholarship which is applicable only for 1st year. Overall college is good ????????????
Campus Life
Annual fest (pinak) held in February-march and other fests like fresher's party and other functions held in college. Every department or building has different libraries to their corresponding courses. Sports competition held in college during January which includes sports like volleyball, cricket, kabaddi, badminton,chess,carrom and basketball.
Admission
Firstly I prefer doon University because it was the state university but I didn't get addmission there.After that I went to DBUU because it provides placement and has less fee than that of other universities
Faculty
Overall facilities are good and well behaved towards children.Every batch or every department have their own mentor, so during mentee-mentor session students can complain about anything about what they need in the classroom or labs and anything they bothered of. Our mentor is very good she calmly listens and solve the problems of all students and talks very politely. Exams held at two time in a semester midterm exam and end term exam and some internal assessment are held in the college.The level of examination is moderate.
Night Life
Campus is surrounded by forest so,there is not so safe to hangout at night but there are lot of resturants and cafes where students can hangout with their friends.For hostel students they can roam at campus but didn't allow to roam outside the campus late night because of their safety

Because I found that this college is good and have less fee structure then another college and universities
