Likes

Teachers are highly experienced and their is enough spaces in classrooms
Having all facilities available like washrooms ,computers, library full of all types ofbooks
It's uttrakhand 2nd most top university in kumaun region

Dislikes

Time of election may be disgusting here and which is too disturbing for good students
Most of the students here are coming college for time pass not attending the class you will see the most
The college is not clean at all you will see garbage everywhere

Course Curriculum Overview

As I have seen students who have studied from here have achieved many things in life some of them became professors here. Some are doing work abroad. According to me something there should be a change like having more practicals if you have taken subjects like IT, cs,bca or any other practical subjects book knowledge is also compulsory but by doing practicals we can learn more easily. Exams are normal for 1st year but as you are going higher difficulties will come.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees are all ok not too high not too low. If you are doing Bsc it is from here so the fees will be around 3400-4500 according to the semester. Scholarship facility is available here if your family income is less or having a percentage more than 80-85 but you have to apply for it. And there are so many cultural activities in which you can participate.

Campus Life

Campus life is Fantastic you will enjoy here nature of the place here. You can participate in any kind of activities like sports, art, and projects, etc. NCC facility is available. Here are teachers who will train you if you have an interest in any game, etc.

Admission

The admission process is very easy. After completing my secondary education I filled up a form and submitted my photocopy of documents like 10th, and 12th certificates aadhar card domicile, etc. After that submitted fees and easily got admission.

Faculty

Teachers are highly qualified and helpful. Faculty members are too supportive. There are many opportunities for students like surveys sports and other curriculum activities. Overall campus is good having a canteen, stationary, etc.

GEU is amazing university!

Placement Experience:

HAL, Interglobe Aviation, and DRDO and others have made understanding with our university to take our students for giving us practical exposure. Now these are the same companies where our services will be hired and therefore as per placement standards packages of 50-60 thousand a month is what we will be paid.

Placement Experience:

Only the companies that deals in aviation and especially in building defense aviation are the ones where we will be placed. Since, HAL, DRDO and others are ones who have partnered with us, so probably those are the companies where we will be placed.

Placement Experience:

Overall university placements records are amazing but for our course no placements have been done as no batch has cleared the course. In 2027, we would be the first batch and I am quite positive that we will have atleast 5-6 LPA packages.

We are in second year and currently we don't have any placements idea as we are the first set of students who will be placed from our college. However, I think the companies with which we have tie-ups like the BEL ane HAL will be the ones who will also hire us.

GEU is a novelty to be a part of!

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester we have to go for internships at HAL and DRDO. Even ISRO is in talks and once that happens I think placements will just be some inches away from us. Looking at the track record and the quality placements that GEU has otherwise I think getting 5-6 LPA as an initial starter would be very much within line.

The Average College With Zero Cheating

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Has Botany Zoology and chemistry and it don't have maths in combination with it so I choose this option. But this college doesn't offer variety in BSc Course. The Course is good for gaining a high level knowledge and experience in the field of science. The Teachers Could go on with the course more in depth by practical applications The time given for each exam is 2hrs which is relevant on basis of level of difficulty.

SSJ CAMLUS ALMORA: A HIDDEN CAMPUS

I chose this college because it is one of the best if not the best campus for B ed course in the state. It has glorious past and it's alumni were placed in the some of the best and government institute in the area. I got a government seat which is way cheaper than the same course provided by other private universities.
