I like the faculty support and the cafes.

I don't like the mess food, especially when they cook south food.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really good, It is designed to be industry specific. The Exam details are: 1. Weekly contest(mostly friday) 2. Assignments 3. Viva/Interviews 4. Mid - semester exam 5. End- semester Exam

Class Size: 107Course Fees: INR 552000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee strucure for the first year is: 1. Block fee: 50,000 2. Caution depoit: 25,000 3. Administration and tech fee: 50,000 4. Tuition Fee: 1,36,250 5. Hostel and mess fee: 90,000 Total payable fee: 6,27,500. From second year: Tuition fee: 1,86,250 Hostel and mess fee: 90,000 Total: 5,52,500 *Note all the fee is to be paid in Indain Rupees*

Campus Life

The overall experience about the campus is like, There are some good things like clubs are mostly student driven and you can join and make your own favourite club. And I am mostly into sports, I like the basketball court the most.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are really good, There is one bed, one fan, one Ac provided in the room. The registration process are held in the first day of the college where you will be alloted random roomate.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

The admission process is like there is one entrance exam called NSAT (Newton Scholastic Aptitude Test), Once you clear it there will be one interview round, which you need to attend in person, Once you clear that too you good to go.

Faculty

The faculty is totally supportive, the faculty student ratio for my batch is 1:10. The exam level is moderate, The exams are conducted in every week and its holds some percentage and will be added in the final marksheet.

Night Life

The nightlife here is not bad, The gym gets closed after 8pm and the library closes at 2am. The campus timings mostly are 5am- 11pm. The cafes are mostly open from 9am-11pm. The place to visit around the campus is Sonipat sector 14

Placement Experience:

I don't know about placement because my batch is the second batch of btech course but the hod have assured that they will bring companies. In 7th semester students become eligible for placement. The average package you could expect is 300000.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunity in my college are quite good and student usually become eligible for the campus placement for 16 and seven semester, depending on the course number of recruitment, companies of the IT finance, consulting and the core industry, visit the campus, each year, student companies in for TCS et cetera, et cetera, the highest package offer is the quite impressive and average package a decent and the comparative compare to the other college and the region. This colleges through the job profile offer Software development, business analytics sector on the average packet of 78% are eligible and perform interview.

My experience of college

Placement Experience:

The thing about my course placement is that my batch is second batch so no batch have been passed out and placed in btech but the dean have assured us about the placement as they have bought companies for others courses so they will surely bring for btech also that's what they said. The companies will mostly nearby to dpg degree college. And the average package will maybe 3 lakh per annum.

Remarks:

Positive - Placements are very good. U get a tag of a Nitian. Environment is very peaceful here. Sport facilities are overall good. Infrastructure is good. ZERO ragging. Negative Professor and faculty members are not cooperative. Some hostels are not good, but new ones are v. Good As KURUKSHETRA is not a big city so u have to go karnal or chandigarh for fun.

Reflection on Campus life : A College Review

My first priority was to get in NIt or IIT but unfortunately i didn't performed well in JEE that made me to think about private colleges . I researched about many collges including NST and found that the course strcuture,curriculum and college life can be much better in NST as you dont have to complete assignment in pen-paper (your assignments will come in your provided macbook). Their course structure is made industry-ready . In other colleges you have to study physics , chemistry and also have to do cutting and finishing tools , marking, measuring etc etc . which is not at all required for computer science engineering But at NST you will only have to study which is required for a software engineer....Read More

admission is done through NSAT exam and after securing a good score relatively that means only top few hundred's are called for interview, post that there is an interview round, after that if someone is selected they will receive a offer letter.
