Life at Adani University

The course that I am pursuing is Information and Communication Technology. The curriculum of this course includes the study of many programming lanuages such as python and java along with data structure and algorithms, which helps us to become backend developer. The curriculumalso includes front-end web development course which I find very fascinating.

The year-wise fees I pay is around 180000 ruppees. This amount contains tuition fees, lab fees and development fees. Exam fees is expected twice during a semester, which is during mid terms and final terms. Exam fees is around 2,500 ruppees during mid-terms and 3,500 ruppess during final terms. Admission fees is around 10000 ruppes.

There is a cultural and sports event named as ASPIRE which occurs every year in our college. Also there are my clubes in our college which are active such as coding club, dance club, etc. There is a student portal named Adani Student portal which is created by students and for students. Seniors post their notes, study material and previous year question paper on this portal.

I applied to many colleges of Gujarat like Nirma and PDPU but I was'nt getting the branch I needed. I only wanted Computer Science or Information and Communication Technology branch for my B-tech program.

The faculty-to-student ratio is around 30:70. Faculties at Adani are very helpul and supportive. They are very knowledgeable and expirienced and truly have great insights. I personally get to learn a lot from them each day. My favorite teacher is Alok sir who teaches us Basic Electrical Engineering because he is very concerned about each and every student of his class.

There is a great cafe of Starbucks just outside our college. We go there to hangout mostly. Also there is a very peacful lake known as Charodi lake, just few kilometers away from our college. The hostel closes at 10:30 pm , which make it quite impossible to hangout at late-nights.
