Adani University "HONEST" review

The course is not perfectly relevant in my opinion as not much coding is taught in college and in most of the subjects prime focus was on the theory portion and very little on the practical portion. Subjects like Data Structure and Java were not taught well. So in my perspective, there should be equal importance on practical and theory and there should be more exams conducted.

Companies like ISRO, Sahay Consulting Group, and many more have offered internships to qualified students. Many students have applied and took the benefit to improve their skills and knowledge through this internship.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for the campus placements, they have to fill out the form if they want to sit in placements or they don't want to sit in the placements. Students are also offered internships if there are any available. The highest package last year was 14,00,000. I plan to pursue my Masters in computer science after finishing my degree.

Adani University has a total fee of 163000 which is 81,500 per semester. It includes all the fees, students don't have to pay any kind of additional fees other than that. However, if one student is NRI then the fees increase drastically and become nearly 4,00,000 per year. If anyone has very good grades then the fee decreases more. One of my classmate is paying only 1500 per semester cause he had very good score in boards as well as GUJCET.

There are many festivals arranged for sports and other co-curricular activities as well but it is not well organized. The facilities are also very good. However, there are no such things as student portals.

I applied to nirma university, DAIICT, L.D., and many more but my grades were not that high to get into those colleges in comparison to other colleges where I can get admission, Adani University was really good both education-wise as well as campus-wise. To get admission in Adani University one can apply through either JEE or Board+Gujcet.

The relationship between student and teacher can depend on the teacher as well as the student's behavior. I personally love our current HOD DR. Ajay Kumar Vyas as he understands us students and supports us, if we complain about something then he also takes important steps to solve it. However, I personally don't like Dr. Mani Shekhar Gupta who used to teach us communication cause I believe he was biased towards scholar students and students who used to attend class regularly. There are 2 exams conducted per semester one is mid-semester and another is end-semester other than that, 2 practical exams(internal-external) are also conducted, and most of the exams are quiet easy as they are conducted by Gujrat Technological University.

No hostel facility is provided by the college and students have to find a hostel on their own. There are some hangout places near the college campus. All the stores like stationary, food and necessary things are available near the college.
