Government Polytechnic at Gandhi Nagar was founded in the year 1991 under World Bank Assistance to offer diploma level courses. The diploma courses offered by the polytechnic college impart basic education of engineering, scientific, computing, and mathematical techniques which gives them ability to use the basic problem-solving techniques. The college comes with vision of World Class education facilities by adopting proper education methods and international training standards in the diploma courses. Currently, the college is having more than 1300 students and 110 staff members in it.

Likes

I like the ground where we play in sports week and other activities being performed.
I liked the campus all over and the canteen area.

Dislikes

There is also a issue of gardening in many areas there is a mini forest.
There's a drinking water issue many times.
There is a issue of cleaning in classrooms they are so dusty sometimes.

Admission:

I choose this college because I had different plans with this city and I've been familiar here before. Other colleges which I want to go had more cut out compare to mine so it was tough to me to get the admission.To take the admission here one needs to fill the form online in acpdc site with the 10-12 marksheet.

Affordable Education with Decent Facilities

Also there is ground for playing sports like cricket, kabaddi, volleyball, kho-kho, badminton, etc.
There is sufficient parking space for parking the vehicles.

Dislikes

Majority there is boys and ratio of girls to boys is 1:4.
Library building is also poor. During Rainy Season, water drops is fallen from the ceiling.
Infrastructure of main building is so poor. Its old building and ceiling of top floor is fallen down in many rooms.

Admission:

I have applied for government colleges in Ahmedabad but i didn't get admission there due to low merit rank. I choose Government Polytechnic Gandhinagar college because here faculties and environment is good as compare to lower colleges than this, also its affordable as it is government college. I didn't get admission in better government colleges than this because of my low percentage/rank in Class 10th. There is some better government colleges than this which has more good faculties, infrastructure, etc. Also there is many private diploma colleges which is more far better than this college, but fees of that private colleges is very much which is not in my budget. I suggest other students to take admission in private colleges if it is in your budget. Admission Process of my college is to fill the Registration Form on ACPDC portal as per date (Advertises every year on acpdc portal). Then do the choice filling of the colleges as per your choices and the rank the college is assigned to the students. Then download admission letter after filling the choice confirmation fee and go to the college for Admission Confirmation with the all required documents.

This course eligibility is after the 10th u have a minimum of three subject marks 180 u. U have applied on is ACPDC website and the first fee is 550Rs. U can check your documents are perfect upload. And carefully check and submit now this admission process start in July.
