Likes
- Safety of the students in the campus is best as there are guards at each interval
- Sports facilities like badminton, tennis, cricket, football and other sports are phenomenal
- Faculties are top notch with experience in their repsective fields
Dislikes
- Classes are a bit further than hostels, so in morning class it might be a issue (prefer purchasing a cycle)
- Rooms are not equipped with AC's so in summer it may be uncomfortable
- Girls to boys ratio is average in comparision to other engineering institutes
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is designed very nicely. Curriculum here is upto date and related to the technological changes that takes place. Teachers here very flexible in teaching new stuff. Teachers also use visuals like 3d models, videos and etc. Lectures are very interesting and interactive
Internships Opportunities
After 2nd yr onwards students get internships. Practice School is a program where college provides internships to its students. Practice school is conducted in two phases PS1 after 2nd year (in summer vacation, around 2 months) PS2 7th sem or 8th sem (students have to choose)
Placement Experience
From 7th semester onwards (single degree students) students are elegible for placement. There are no companies that have visited but haven't given any placement. Avaerage package is around 35 lakhs 97% students are placed who applies for placement and all are placed in their desired companies

Campus Life
Social life is phenomenal here, there are many clubs in which students can apply. All the books are present in the library Sports facilities are excellent Here all the clubs are runned by students only (teachers are in-charge) Every year 3 fests takes place, APOGEE, BOSM and OASIS APOGEE is a tech fest BOSM is a sports fest OASIS is a cultural fest In all the fest famous singers and commedians perform
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are basic with two beds, two study tables and two almirah for double room (1st and 2nd yr) 3rd yr onwards students are alloted single rooms Each room has proper ventilation Each wing comprises of fire extinguisher Mess food is excellent, it won't disappoint you Registration is along with tution fees submission
Admission
I got confirmed admission from IITKGP Civil, I still choosed BITS due to its facilities, teachers and the department of civil is better here. I got rejected from IITBOM Civil because of my JEE ADV rank was not upto the mark. I think I lacked my preparation in JEE. Admission process is simple, first give BITSAT after giving, fill the preference form for branches along with need to submit admission fees. After multiple iterations, report in campus.
Faculty
Faculties here are the top professionals of their industry. They are always ready to help you academically and with personal life. Each course is of 40 hours (50mins lecture) 1 sem is of 4.5 months Courses generally 3-4 components of evaluation: quiz, assignment, mid-sem and compre (end sem exam)
Interview Experience
No as such interview or GD but a small interaction with a professor while registering. He asked only from where are you and what you like about your city No academic question He was very friendly and the interview will not be judged for admission
Night Life
Nightlife here is very good with around 7 eateries open till 2:30 am There is no restriction on hostel time, but campus entry time is restricted to 9pm Every locality in the campus is safe to roam around as there are guards present at each interval
