Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Electronics and communication engineering with is a very good course and has many variety of opportunities. The curriculum preparation arr very good in this college. Exam difficulty level is modetate

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Placement Experience

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Tata, ibm visited this college and made offers. Highest package they offered is 10lpa. My plan is to prepare for gate examination

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees based on merit is 45000.and the total fees based on management is 75000.There are many scholarships available especially for womens. Exam fees is around 2000.Ongc scholarship is available in this college.

Campus Life

Utsav is the popular fest conduct in this college. And art fest is also conducted here it os very popular. Spots like cricket is also played here Ncc and nss club is here to join. College union is very good herr

Admission

I applied this college coz this is one of the top college in kerala. Many students have passed from this college. I applied only to this college. To join this college apply and prepare for keam examination

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 4:5.The faculty student relationship is very good. I like so many faculties here. Staff advisor is the best faculy here. Exams are very difficult to attend. Many students passed

Night Life

Gym is inside the campus. Canteens and library is also in the campus. Campus timing is 9:00 to 4:00.mens hostel is outside the campus and womes hostel is also outside the campus. Locality is safe here

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

I first applied for most of the government engineering colleges. Then my next priority was to get into a best college other than the government ones.
