Practical portion is of much importance in MBBS. There are good laboratories with equipments available.Teachers also explain everything in detail and show how an experiment is done. Boys hostel provides option for sports like basketball, badminton, cricket, table tennis etc. For girls hostel a badminton ground is there.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel for girls is nearly average. All students face problems of water sometimes. The hostel is not equipped with generators, gym, reading room etc. Girls hostels are located outside campus and the new buildings for girls hostel are located near the hospital.Powercuts during examination time is a hard time for every student of the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes seniors are of much help in MBBS career. They provide juniors with notes and other things required. Seniors also provide guidance about how to study how to perform well in examination how questions were asked during there time etc. Seniors and juniors are like family.

Exam Structure

Total MBBS is divided into 9 internal semesters and 4 university examination. Besides this there are also class tests done in my college.scoring well in the semesters examinations and class tests is important for getting good internal markings that is a part of final results.

Admission

First i appeared the AIPMT entrance examination. After getting qualified i took part for counselling that was also online. Then after getting qualified for this college there was manual document verification at DMET office Odisha. Then final admission was done at VIMSAR,Burla with form fill up and admission fees payment. I also went through health check up before getting admission as it was necessary.

Faculty

3

Faculty are good. They explain in detail by providing good example and explain our doubts when we ask.Every teacher has his/her own style. If you understand it then studying will be easy.faculties make powerpoint presentations and show visually various pictures and videos needed for the study. Those presentations serve as a good note for students during examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well organized by the authorities based on the latest medical aspect of our society. Practical classes and regular postings in hospital helps in better understanding. Being the only hospital in nearby cities, our hospital provides us a good exposure to varity of cases. Our Associate proff and HODs also look upto them and help us gain more real world experience. The best aspect of this field or if I have to say Why have I chose it is to serve the society. Absence of well qualified doc at the times of emergency is one of the leading causes of mortality in developing countried like India. Being in this profession, I just want to help people around me.
