Course Curriculum Overview

The way or pattern that they following is very nice.so that we are getting sufficient time to study and practice. That is helpful to manage our time during semister examinations . I am satisfied with that.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 281000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Year - wise fee paid is 281000(two lakh eighty one thousand) For comedk -281000(two lakh eighty one thousand) For CET - Around 170000(one lakh seven thousand) For management - Around 7.5 lakhs(seven lakhs fifty thousand)

Campus Life

In our college so many events will be held.So many clubs are there so that everyone one can showcase their talent and develop so many skills. They also conduct workshops to increase our knowledge. .

Admission

As compared to other colleges this best as per education, strictness some respective activities. As compared to before NIRF rank is much better compared to remaining colleges . Security is also nice .

Faculty

Faculty are very nice towards students.Student teachers bond is very nice.Teachers are supporting in students not only in studies but also in so many activities.I am very happy being a student in my college.

Night Life

In our college so many places are there where we can feel free . We can roam around the college after completing our classes . So much open space is there and basketball court, cricket ground, football ground soo many places are there to enjoy.

LIFE AT NITK

Placement Experience:

Placements at NITK Surathkal are very good overall, and the EEE department consistently sees a high percentage of students getting placed-85% to 90%+ However the placement profiles and salaries vary a lot depending on whether you go core electrical jobs , software/IT jobs we students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester companies start arriving fro pre placement talks and tests ,some students also get PPOs done in the 3rd year summer internshis companies visiting nitk for eee students are: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SIEMENS ABB L&T TATA POWER BOSCH. My personal plans after getting degree is either get placed in a good company then later prepare for civils services examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The VTU syllabus was bit difficult to crack, but the course we good , it was a fun studing the syllabus, but the syllabus was not related to the placement, we struggle a lot to get placed in the final year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since my kcet rank was low I want a good clg so I choose this college I choose electrical and electronics. also I'm very interested in electrical department I wanted eee branch so I choose this Curriculum actually helps you to learn and solve real world problems since it's a core branch you have to concentrate on our syllabus. We get to learn lot of things also we have 4 labs there you can learn practically . In our clg they additionally we have lab Called skill lab there you can learn lot of things additionally . I feel they should add some programming language as subject in eee additionally even though we learn that in 1st year there should be continuous so . Even our colleges provide boot camps for 10 days every sem where experienced trainer will come and teach you but I feel that's not enough they have include programming languages as our part of curriculum. In internals they provide 1hour time for for 30 marks and sem exams 3hr for 100 marks so it's manageable .

NMIT - An overview

The eligibility to join the course is to have passes class 10+2 from any recognized board and to have secured passing marks in PCM. I have joined through comedk which is an exam conducted every year to get admission into karnataka Medical and engineering colleges. It's an exam similar to JEE except that syllabus is a bit less but no of questions is more than JEE.
