Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is world class and updated to latest researches and makes us industry ready. They provide enough time to study and do other activities to improve the skills of a person as well. The frequency is usually 4 short tests in a semester and then a mid semester and then end semester examination.
Internships Opportunities
The college itself provides total of two compulsory interships throughout the degree. One is after the second year and it is paid and you don't get any stipend but after 3rd year a 6 Month internship is provided in which the students get a good amount of stipend.
Placement Experience
The placements are very great.it is said that on admitting into BITS the placements is almost confirmed. almost 100 percent of students get placed in their dream jobs. The highest package are 80-100 lpa I am planning to get placed in some consulting firm.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fee is almost 28 lacs and 7 lacs per year it includes everything like stay, food, tution, electricity etc. Also a lot of scholarships are provided on basis of merit and income. There is scholarship named meri cumulative need scholarship.
Campus Life
There are total of three fests named BOSAM (sports festival), OASI(cultural), APOGEE(Technical). There are a lot of student run clubs in literally every field . The college provide enough space and technology for a good environment of study.
Hostel Facilities
The room is pretty basic.there is a bed fat and desk.There is mattress provided. The food quality is good but the taste sometimes gets bad but overall it is okay. There is no registration process for hostel..it happens along with the admission only.
Admission
I applied for IITs and NITs but couldn't get them due to a slight low score in the competition of jee. The addmission process is very simple. There is an example named BITSAT similar to jee mains and also of similar difficulty level. The cutoff for CS is 330/390
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is good enough to provide enough attention to everyone. The HOD of my department is one of the best professors.also there are no assignments as in other colleges instead they take tests which helps to catch the concepts easily
Interview Experience
No there was no group discussion or any personal interview was there at the time of interview.the criteria was only the admission test and the clearance of the cutoff score to get admitted in the respective branch.
Night Life
There is very good gym with enough equipments. There are a lot of eateries (named- ANC, LOOTERS,FIID MINISTRY)and their opening timings are 5pm-2 am. the campus is open all day and night. There is no any timeing boundation for hostel entry or exit. There is a separate hostel for girls.
