Course Curriculum Overview

4

As this course has three of the major disciplines of science including chemistry, botany and zoology so it serves as a good base for research. And also it provides a vast pool of knowledge those who are confused about what to do in future should opt this course. This course if applied in a good way with all the practicals actually done serves a very good role in real world where your skills can make you earn in the real world you can have your own business ideas. Teaching methods must include more test and knowledge more than the syllabus and also the curriculum includes compulsory practical works and on field trainings as well. The frequency of exams are not that high and the difficulty of the paper is also moderate as it can be cleared with less preparation as well, the examination difficulty must be increased so that students must try to grasp more things.

Fees and Financial Aid

So the course fees is 15000 rupees per year excluding approximately 2000 rupees for examination cost per semester. The university offers scholarships as well according to your quota if your income is low you can avail it. There are many scholarship programs as well in the university which offers good percent of scholarship with people having quota, it depends on your category as well. But to general it only depends on the income.

Campus Life

4

The annual fest in our college held in timeline between March to April where we organise different fun and cultural events and have guest singers as well, our annual fest name is shraddha tarang. Our college has a very good library having many books and also easily assessable journals you can go and read it in library itself or you can get the book issued. Technological provision is enough for the classrooms but not that good. Our college is best amongst sports in delhi university where our cricket team always wins the university tournament. And college also have good extracurricular activities where we can enhance and brush up the artist within us. We don't have social groups we have societies like art and literary ones and also departmental one's.

Admission

I applied for Christ University Bangalore, Chandigarh University, Amity University and many more I got selected in Christ University where I gave exam and pi for my selection and I also got selected but at the same time after 5 days I got my result of CUET UG where I got Swami Shraddhanand College so I opted for this college as I was getting my preferred course here. To get admission in this college you have to give CUET UG where you have to opt for three domain exams and one language where english is mandatory. Cut offs cannot be decided as a complex process of selection is used here, where after releasing of your CUET score normalisation takes place and in that process your marks can be increased pr decreased accordingly, so cut offs cannot be decided. Admission process is very complex and hectic as well.

Faculty

4

Faculty is enough in our college, faculty members are very friendly and respectful because of their good behaviour and supportive nature. It is very easy to approach them. There are many faculty members which I like as they are very supportive and also are friendly to me they always helps us in things apart from academics. For exams there are internal exams, practicals as well as the main university paper apart from that we also have mid semester test and class tests to evaluate our progress and also these papers are of moderate difficulty, where you can crack the tests with 10-15 days of studying. Almost 7-8 students fail to clear the exam. The curriculum of the course is good for the one's who want to be in research and want to do core science, as it serves as a base for future studies.

Other Applied Colleges

Christ University | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Zoology)

As this college was very far from my home town and also was expensive

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
