Course Curriculum Overview

3

the course helps us complete our basic needs regarding to the course and faculties mostly teaching revolves around the specific syllabus made therefore the remaining extra things that make the student industry ready is to be done by the student itself.

Internships Opportunities

4

Every year many internship opportunities are provide to stuents and companies do come to college . the faculties do guide us regarding hwo should one get hired in a company by providing different sessions and introducing in different courses and arranging talk sessions with aluminies and working professionals in companies to provide the required real life guidence.

Placement Experience

3

the placement of the college when in was in first year was pretty good. the highest package that went that year was 44 lakh per annum but now the placement percent has fallen drastically with no amusement because of the inflation the country is facing

Fees and Financial Aid

total general fees for students in college is Rs1,85,000 per year.there are scholarships available for different categories like st,sc,ews, obc etc. , we can also opt for scholarship from other organisations as well.

Campus Life

2

the campus life in our college does not even exit the so called fest comes once in a year which lasts for 5 days but we can count only of 2 days to be a proper fest do expect from fest going on the college . the college has libraries and reading rooms which consumed by students on everyday basis. the club part of the college has some of the reowned clubs like gdg, gfg, ieee etc

Admission

the amenities and previous year placement of the college was good enough to stand consideration to opt it as well as it was creditted grade A college according to NAAC so it was more comparable to other colleges but the grade and placement now has fallen.

Faculty

1

Some faculty member are full of attitude and egoistic.they hold grudges to some specific students. As the course revolves around 7 subjects, it varies department wise . the marking scheme is divided for two different subjects one of them is theory based and one of them is practical based. as far as my course is concerned there are 5 theory based subjects and 2 practical subjects. the theory based subjects have ese (40 marks),internal (60marks).the practical exams have in total 50 marks.

Night Life

1

as far as our campus area is concerned it is one of the worst area because it is one of the most unsafe area of pune.the security of the campus is not so good or well maintained . one of the college gate is open all the time where no securtiy is there where anyone from the outside can visit and women safety is at a stake. the hostel provied by the college doesnt have good facilities and mostly the campus is out of reach at night for students to explore.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is pretty outdated. I am in cybersecurity specialization and there are only 2 subjects(starting from 2nd year) related to cybersecurity.and those courses are good but the faculty teaching them arent that great. they just read out the ppts, which they dont even share.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

That aspect that made me choose this course that the it very oriented with the project based learning which prepare students for the industry level knowledge and ready for the job . It really prepare for the real world problem which are needed in the industry. Some improvements can also be added as the era is of AI the curriculum can be shaped based on the AI for future proof. The frequency of the exam is every 6 months it is very good to have exams every 6 months as students get to check their knowledge on timely basis the difficultly level is manageable.

Semester 7 is when the placement season starts, and sem 5 onwards you can appear for internship season. The highest package goes in crores but mostly in cse department, others not IT jobs have reletively lower packages avarage being 20 LPA. Almost 60 percent and above students get placed in my guess. I am planning to work in a chemical process design firm.
