- LIMITED SPACE-CAMPUS IS VERY SMALL . LIKE IN EXAM TIMES, OUR CLASSES ALSO GETS CANCELLED DUE TO UNAVAILABILITY OF ROOMS
- LACK OF PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES- PLACEMENTS ARE ALSO NOT PROVIDED FOR COMMERCE STUDENTS
- CANTEEN FACILITIES ARE ALSO NOT MUCH GOOD. FOOD IS ALSO NOT THAT OF GOOD QUALITY. MANY TIMES WE HAVE SEEN UNHYGIENE AND IMPURE FOOD CONTAINING MOSQUITOES,OR ANY OTHER INSECT LIKE SILKWORM I HAVE SEEN IN MY FRIENDS FRIED RICE
Course Curriculum Overview
Specific aspects were like that I used to like commerce subjects . I love doing accounting and always wanted to make business studies as my passion. There are no as such curriculums Like , faculty must focus on practical learning rather than relying on theories
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of my college is designed to provide us quality education at an affordable cost , making it accessible to students from diverse financial backgrounds. The annual fees for most undergraduate programs such as B.sc (hons) in botany ,chemistry, physics,mathematics ,and others are Rs. 18,224 for general and reserved categories ensuring parity. Courses like Bsc(hons) in biomedical science and computer science have slightly higher fees of Rs. 25,334 and 31,054 respectively, reflecting the specialized resources required. Scholarships like merit based scholarships, need based scholarships for financial assistance like Ms.Teena gupta memorial scholarship ,Abhinav halen scholarship fund, krishna toteja memorial scholarship etc are provided to us to recognize our academic excellence and to also provide financial assistance
Campus Life
The annual fest in my college is Leiothrixx. It is held every year in march month. There are a variety of books and journals are available , you can borrow them free of cost for a due time. If I say about facilities, then they are not much as good as other collegs. Sports and extracurricular activites also happens every week . There is a good scope for sports.
Admission
Actually , I was too eager to get into delhi university so I didn't even thought even about north , south or off. I was like I just have to go in du . Ther were no any desires to come in this particular college. And for me all du colleges are same. Delhi university is all good as compared to other universities. Yes, I Got rejected from Shyam Lal college because of the mistake in document verification , like the date required in that form was about 30th march and my document was of 18th march , so there I got problem which hampered me a lot . The admission process is quite simple . CUET is accepted all over Delhi unversity colleges. You must have scored above 600/800 , so as to get admission here.
Faculty
The student to faculty ratio is not quite confirmed . Only guesses can be made. So overall there is a good relationship between faculty and students The name of the faculty which I like is Dr. Surinder kaur .She is one of the best faculty
Night Life
College is not as too big . It is a very small campus. No gyms , no cafeterias are near around. hostels are not available . Localities are not considered secure and safe . Places for hangout can be iskcon east of kailash, kalkaji temple, tughlakhabd fort and many more are there
