Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was so much excited at the start but the ragging here made me lose hope on many things. But here there are many student clubs. There is wide range of possibilities for students here from dance, singing to robotics. You can do most of what you want in this college. The exams here are also not stressing and it is not often too. If there were better decisions on ragging and faculty that will be so good to study in this college. There are frequent alumini meets which gives some motivation. If the ragging and faculty is rectified this will be one of the best college.

Internships Opportunities

4

Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Deloitte, PwC, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, L&T, Mu Sigma, etc. are the companies providing internship here. They provide internships on many roles like software development, data science, specialised jobs for electrical engineers. The stipends vary from some thousands to even lakhs for some students.

Placement Experience

2

There are campus placements available here but it does not have a great magical figures. The highest package last year was some 50 lakh. And the jobs were offered to most of the people in top branches only there are no good placements for the other branches. Though the median and highest qre very low compared to other nits. There is 10 to 12 lakh median salary for the students belonging to cse, ece and eee. But the highest package of ece and eee is 30 lakh only.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee system in the college is very good. The students will get fee waivers according to family income alongside reservations. I am a student who doesn't have any reservation. I am getting half of the fee waiver as my family income is low and i am paying 75k per year for academic fee. There is also one thing called free mess for needy students. If u apply and select for it u can get free mess and need to only pay for hostel which is around 50k. There are also many scholarships for students studying here. My friends are availing many of them. Some of these scholarships are directly given by the college management.

Campus Life

4

There are two main fests ragam in feb and tathva in oct. They are marvellous. This college has a very good reputation in kerala so most students come ro the college to see the fests. There are clubs for all kind of interests from technical to cultural. From dance to robotics. This gives students a handson experience on team work leadership. There is special concentration on sports in this college in the recent inter nit sports competition the college secured the first place with points double of the second place. The buildings are not that great they are too old.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel building here are too old. But the rooms don't have much flaws. The registration process is very easy we can just simply login to hostels app and we can refister easily there. There are many kinds of messes here we can change the mess monthly. And the food is very good. There is large menu and followed most of the time. The hostel management also provides free mess for people who are needy. There is rectification of any problems within a day. The wifi isn't that great in hostels even we can't use whatsapp.

Admission

After jee i applied for many colleges, but i got seat only in this college. The admission process is not that hectic here. But it took a long time to take admission almost a day. But there were people who were guiding pn every procedure. As this college is in kerala i preffered this college for its well known environment and culture and it has been good as expected too.

Faculty

2

The faculty here is average. There are some who teaches very good and some very bad. Especially i noted that most of the hindi professors wer very nice at teaching here. In my first sem i liked neetu garg mam (maths) and gourav siddharth sir (dcs). They both are hindi people, i liked their teaching very much. In my second sem now i am not liking any of the professors here, especially a telugu professor gopi krishna of semiconductors, even i am a telugu guy. There is some problems regarding the faculty here.

Night Life

1

There is a main problem with night life. Many of the other colleges have a very good night life they go out chill with their friends. But here there is strict curfew for 1st years. Intially it was 8 30 late extended to 10 30. From second year the hostel will be shifted to some where far, even if we don't have curfew we can't spend the night inside college like others. Where as we can leave college and go to nearby town but that is not that great.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester onwards. At the conclusion of the second year, the college evaluates all students, allowing only the diligent and deserving individuals to proceed, while others are dismissed. The college provides excellent placement prospects for high-performing students. A multitude of reputable companies actively recruit from our institution, making it a premier destination for career opportunities in Kerala. While assured placement is offered to students with minimal or no backlog papers, others are also placed, albeit with comparatively lower annual packages. Majority of the talented students are placed in Cognizant and TCS Ninja with an average annual package of 10 to 12 lakh. I actually plan to pursue higher studies after Btrch.
