The couse curriculam is as everyone kbiw outdated as hell but only thing i liked is they trued to integrate new trending subjectsvin the industry like 3d prjnting and all and conduct workshops regularly on many things

Its 281000 per year fir my comedk through admission . Its 35k per year , 7lakh per year & so 1 2lakh per year depending on thr mode of ur admission and the rank u score jn that mode of admission. NO SCHOLARSHIPS

Campus Life

It is the best part of the college It has one of the best & top clubs of India . And its also tough to get into one if those clubs ..The college life is very chill .One or th other events or fests will be going each & everyday

Hostel Facilities

I opted for NRI hostel whose fees is 2.15 lakh ..Food is good far better than pgs they have gym facility squash facility tae tennis facility 2 ppl per room and 24×7 hot watter and overall very spacious rooms

Hostel Fee: INR 215000 per year

Admission

There are multiple ways of entry in my college .. Kcet comedk & management . I choose this option because this was onky the good level college i was getting at my rank so had no other option but to choose this

Faculty

The faculty of the college is okish not that bad nor good . If u really are intrested in studying getting concepts cleared tgey would help u but if u arent then they wont care its upp too us how we are

Interview Experience

Haven't gone throught any interview yet . But have gone throught internship interviews and didnt do any preparation..Few went good few went bad but all gelped me to kearn a lot of things and where can i improve it

Night Life

Its okish not that good nor bad .. U can get good street food here but cant expect homely food or full meals u can only get fast foods here which us very good at very affordable prices and also the bakeryies are very good nearby

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

"BIET Davanagere: A Hub of Opportunities with Room for Improvement"

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

I choose this college because of the location and the placements. The college is 45 years old and has a good connection in the industry. The placements are also decent. The location of the college is really beautiful. One will find all the necessities near and around the college itself. I didn't perform well in my jee examinations, but my comedk exam went well, so I came to this college. There are 3 ways to take addmission in this college. 1st is through Comedk exam which is for all the students, inside and outside Karnataka, 2nd is through the KCET exam which is only for the Karnataka students .
