Being a doctor is my childhood dream. It was dream come true moment for me. Being a doctor builds respect in the society Improvements like increasing the clinical exposure rather than university exams should be implicated

Fees and Financial Aid

My college fees is 1,78764? . In dat 1,28000 is for government, 45000 is for my college and 5000 is for clinical purposes And since I'm government seat I get scholarship It is SSP scholarship, I get 55000?

Campus Life

We will be having two fests in the college. One is inter college fest called SAMSKRUTI and other is intracollege fest called KALAUTSAV. we have intercollege sports conducted every year under rguhs university

Admission

First reason why I choose this college is because it is in Bangalore. And I stay in Bangalore only I applied to so many colleges but analysing my marks and rank I got allotted to this college. This college is comparatively good in studies and learning

Faculty

Faculty members in medical college are really good and sweet except for few. Teachers really help us so much. Coming to course structure, MBBS is five and half year journey. In dat 4 and half is studying and another year is internship which is very critical in every medical' students life Exam system- we have 3 internal assessments and one university exam at the end Scoring system - internals are conducted for 80 marks and university exams are for 100 marks

Night Life

We got so many gyms near my college and Infact even I go the gym We got cafeteria and library in the college itself My hostel timing are morning 5 am to 9 pm and my college timings are morning 9am to evening 4 palm

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Mbbs course is one of the high respective course. We want to face many struggles during exams. But in future we will become excellenct doctor. Exams are not that much tough, but still passing marks in mbbs course is 40% (cbme curriculum). Last year it was 50% passing marks. We want to practice diagram for anatomy and physiology we want to write short notes.

Medical college with the best infrastructure in India

The curriculum is great. It is followed as per RGUHS ( Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) guidelines. There are currently RS4, RS5 and RS6 curriculums. Each curriculum is different in it's own way. The pattern of subjects, exams and NEXT exam has changed as per each year and curriculum.

We have internals once in around 3 months and we have yearly final exams. The average of the three internals is added to the final marks to declare the results. The exams are of average difficulty. Not too difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.

Compared to other colleges there are some traps like u have to complete ur course to get back ur certificates after getting it first year resultd if u think to crack it in second attempt or supplementary exams u have to pay ur second years fees to attempt it or u may have a chance of going to leave college by completing the whole fees left off and then get ur certificates...Read More

All about East Point from my point of view

I was selected for CMRIT and TJohn college of engineering for same course but finally decided to choose east point due to its reputation accross banglore, Since I'm excellent performer in academics i haven't faced rejection but this college is my personal choice. Management quota requires you to be a 12th passed out, and there is no specific university entrance exam but there is state university entrance exam which is CET through which you get a great fees redemption it's almost quater price of management quota and I'm a CET entry....Read More
