Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is relevant to the needs in the market currently. Multiple tests are given with quizzes and also activity based assements to make the whole learning experience extremely holistic for the sake of the students

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Multiple companies which come for placements also come for internships. These internships later get converted into jobs for many students as the same company hires the students when they are done with the course.

Placement Experience

Multiple companies come to the campus to conduct placements. Companies like HP, Toyota, Infosys and L&T are present every year and recruit multiple students from multiple branches. All companies which come visit every year due to the quality of the students

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly through KCET fee is 125000 Through Comedk the yearly fee is 311000 roughly Management quota fee is 2000000 for the entirety of the course College has its own scholarship program called VVCE scholarship

Campus Life

There are multiple clubs present on campus. Over 20 of them are run entirely by students. From clubs like NCC to coding clubs, there is a club for everyone. There is also great infrastructure with multiple badminton courts, basketball courts present on campus

Admission

The reception from the college is great, all of the faculty are highly motivated and have taken educating the students as a mission. As it is in the centre of the city commute becomes easier and multiple college run buses are available for students

Faculty

Faculties are all extremely friendly and are highly approachable. All of them offer great advice for not just their subject but life as a whole. They are all highly knowledgeable and share their wisdom with the students

Night Life

The hostel gates close by 7pm and all students are inside the hostel by then. A lot of students use the college gym regularly as it is well maintained and has been updated recently to help the students. All of the campus gates close by 7pm

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

Why VVCE is one the best engineering colleges?

Actually I accidentally got admitted to this college. I was not aware of VVCE at first. First I and my father went NIE north campus and their the seats were filled so then we came here for management quota as i CET result was not up to the mark. The admission procedure is not that much difficult here in VVCE. Starting from application filling to fee payment, everything goes with ease. At that time , there was no donation for my course ( ECE) so I opted it and didn't want to go IT courses.
