Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course content may not be directly relevant to what we do in the industry but it helps build our fundamentals which is sufficient. To make us industry ready they have a wide variety of technicals to build on the fundamentals taught in the course. Also they have courses such as TPEC where we are left to work on hackerrank and leet code which builds our technical skills

Internships Opportunities

5

While I am not fully awarw about the internship opportunities in our college but we have a training and placement department that ensures that each student gets an internship. The stipend is usually around 20 to 30 thousand

Placement Experience

5

We have an amazing canpus placement scenario. Top companies come to our college offering high placements. Our packages average at 5 to 8 LPA. The highest package last year was 40LPA, and it was in dubai. The second highest was 26 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

So the yeary fees is roughly 300000 if you apply through comed k If you apply through KCET your fees will be around 150000 per year However if you are applying through management quota, your fees will be around 3 lakhs depending on your 12th marks along with a donation of at least 8 Lakhs depending on your 12th marks

Campus Life

5

Our annual fest vidyuth is the grandest college fest in mysuru with top artists from kollywood and bollywood, as well as international djs. We have a wide variety of student clubs both technical and non technical. We were the first college in mysuru to have a Toastmasters club for public speaking. We also have a club for music, dance, literature and many more.

Admission

Initially I chose this college as it was the only college offering me the course I wanted for the rank I had. However I realized after joining the college that it was the best engineering college in mysore

Faculty

4

The faculties for the most part are extremely kind and supportive of the students, making allowances and pushing students to their potential. My favourite faculty would be Mr. Shibu Andia from the mathematics department. A lot of faculties think of themselves as above the students which isn't wrong but Shibhu sir treats us as if we are his customers and makes us very comfortable in class. I don't really have any complaints with any faculties and I feel that most faculties are nice to you, unless you do something really bad to upset them The exam papers strike the perfect balance of challenging us to study hard and being easy at the same time

Night Life

5

The college is surrounded by cafes and pubs allowing for a very vibrant student life outside college. We have a KFC right in front of our college, and a subway, pizza hut, dominos not too far away. Also it is very near ti chaat street where you can go for some nice chaats. There are plenty of gyms outside the college but we have a gym in the college itself as well, although not well equipped but sufficient. There are also many cigarette shops like greens, or grapes that people go to unwind after a tough day

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
