Internships Opportunities

I don't think so my college providing me and receive facility but they are many internship programs come in my college but there is no very good internship programs and no one internship companies in my college the provided very base internship programs

Placement Experience

I really dont now the placement critariya but there were few seniours tell me that our avarage placement is 3 lakhs per annum and the higghest is 30 lakhs per annum but as a pol science hons student i dont think show tge i get this type of placement

Fees and Financial Aid

I will pay 15000 for my 1st year and 1500 for my examination fess per semester i have total 6 semesters in 3 years and my category is General . And i dont get any scholarship because my annual family income hi above the 2.5 lakhs per annum .

Campus Life

My college xampus is an average and decent campous and live life there as well and there is no best facilities in my coleege they provided the average things not to much technology no wifi fir students.

Admission

I give cuet exam in 2024 and i got 627 marks out of 800 and i got this college because i am from genral catagory and because of that i only this college . My college in south campus in south delhi my college name is deshbandhu college.

Faculty

In my college there is a big network provlem issue there is no network of any kind of sim or any networks this is very big issue . And my college have provide in very early morning exams in winters from this students are to late for exam .

Night Life

In my college there are canteen gym library all of them are in my college and my college was good for providing these facilities for students like young cafeteria library public area closing of nice campus but my college didn't provide any hostel

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Great college with good faculty and student crowd

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.

Overall College life experience.

Along with Gargi college I chose some North campus colleges too because of high NIRF ranking . Due to high cut-off and belonging from a general category usually students are not able to crack north campus colleges. This is the main reason why competition is high and seats are less of we look at yearly registrations. You need to give CUET right after completing 12th standard in order to get into top ranked colleges. This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

I have applied many college such as IPU and other colleges of DU IPU have very costly and expensive fees structure where in DU have cheap. But DU addmission is based on CUET marks.
