Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the 4 stars for the course curriculum and in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. As I have intrest in the tech field so that is why I have choosen this course. This course is so relevant in todays days. In some filed course need to update the books and way of teaching.
Fees and Financial Aid
The detailed fee structure yearly is Rs 1500 in my college in which Rs7500 is per semester and there are 2 semesters every year. Rs 1150 are for books which are included in Rs 7500 itself. Buying books is optional. There are two option hard copy and soft copy.If we choose soft copy then we do not have to pay Rs 1150 then the semester fee is only Rs 6350. Although we have to also pay the exam fee which is Rs 200 per subject at the time of exam form fill up. IGNOU take admission two time in a year first time in January and second time in July. The scholor ships are based on the merit and need, and intended to help the children from the economically weaker section. We can apply for the IGNOU scholorships online on the National Scholorship Portal. There are three types of scholorships in IGNOU are IGNOU Merit scholorships, IGNOU need based scholorship, and IGNOU sports Scholorships.
Campus Life
The IGNOU is unique in its approach to education offering a robust distance learning combined with opportunities for social engagement and Acadmic growth. Unlike traditionals universities where students meets daily on the lecturs halls IGNOU atructure encourage a different type of social interaction. IGNOU hosst periodic workshops and counselling session and study group meetings at a designated study centres. These gathering have been invaluable for connecting with peers from diverse background and region. IGNOU supports various student activities through club and initiative through they may not be as extensive as those in conventional unversities. depending on the regional centers students can participates in cultural clubs and literary groups and students welfare organizations. IGNOU's infrastructure while primirly geared toward distance learning is well eqquiped to support student needs. The regional centre and study centre are the hubs where most in person interact place.
Admission
I have choose this college because of some financial problem in the family. If I ccompare this college with the other college I have applied for this college I would say other college is better in comparision to my college. Admission process in my college is we need to fill the application form online and do registration after registration we got the confirmation mail from the college side and got our enrollment number and that's it.
Faculty
Faculty members are very supportive as IGNOU is an open university so there is no need to go to college regularly. As this is a open university faculty always support us at the time when we got stuck some where they arrange the offline classes for us to prepare for the exam and clear our doubts.
Night Life
As a distace learning institutions IGNOU does not have a traditional residential campus this means the concept of on campus nightlife is virtually nonexistent. However the regional and study centre are often located in metropolitan or urban areas offering students ample opportunites to explore the local night life.
