How hard did you find it to complete BCA from IGNOU?

My brother's friend completed his BCA from IGNOU. Recounting his experience, he told me that it was very difficult to adapt to the self-learning environment. He failed consecutively in all three semesters in the beginning. He was on the verge of giving up. He realized that the study material provided by IGNOU is actually designed for self-study. He made notes, researched and practised a lot and he was able to complete both BCA and MCA. He said that it was self-study that helped me achieve my goal. If you want to get good marks in IGNOU you have to focus on your self-study sessions more than anything.

How do I pass the IGNOU BCA exam?

One of my friends was pursuing BCA from IGNOU. He shared that initially he did not take the course seriously. He believed that distance learning is extremely easy and does not require effort. But as per his experience, this course is no joke despite being distance learning. BCA is a technical or IT field. You can't just write anything and attain marks like many other subjects. He further shared a few tips that might help you pass the IGNOU BCA exam: You will have to start working hard right from your first year. Set your goal as 80-90%. Only then will you get around 50-60%. Try to pass each and every subject in your first attempt. Don't leave any questions unanswered in your exams. Read study materials provided by IGNOU. Solve the past 5-6 years' question papers thoroughly. This will be a big help. If you follow the tips sincerely, you will get good marks in your BCA exams.

The fee structure at IGNOU is affordable and suitable for students from all financial backgrounds semester fifo my course is approximately rupees 8000 which makes they early fear on rupees 16000 for the total fee for the complete course remain quality economical compared to regular private colleges the fees mainly include tuition charges in station phase study material course and examination related expenses IGNOU keys it's fee structure is stable and their is generally increase in student can also apply for government is scholarship available for SC ST OBC and economically weaker section student throw up through National scholarship portal as per their eligibility some state scholarships are also applicable overall IGNOU provides quality education

registration fee 300 rupees when you register your self in portal + 150 rupees where you apply for like cyber-cafe stationary shop in regional center. fee structure and exam fee + assignment making cost also final year project cost. 1 semester - 6000 + exam fee(120*5=600) assignment making cost=200 2 semester - 6000+exam fee(120*7=840) assignment making cost = 360. 3 semester - 6000+exam fee( 120*7=840) assignment making cost 380+ tuition fee for programming language per month for regular 4 months * 1000rupees= 4000. 4 semester - 6000+exam fee(120*7=840) assignment making cost 400+ programming tuition fee 4000 5 semester - 6000+exam fee (150*7= 840) assignment making cost 400 + tuition fee 3000 6 semester - 6000+exam fee(150*4=600) assignment making cost 300 + complete last year project 8500 to built and tuition fee include. the per semester fee is 7500 includin printed study material. there are 6 semesters in this course. the govt. scholarship are available here. there is some fee concession for the categories. I didn't get any scholarship because of general category

Honest Ignou Review

The exam checking is very bad and they fail student without any valid reason very difficult to pass the exams.
Late updation of exam result and sometimes they forget to update assignment numbers
There is no notification about exam form exam dates or assignments so the managment is inefficient

The semester wise fees is 7200 and each yr consists of 2 semesters There is a scholarship available for sc st student and there is no other fees expect for exam and tution fees. The exam fees is 300? per yr.

The study materials provided were detailed and easy to understand
The course was budget friendly with a total yearly semester fee of around 13,400 for my time

Lack of hands on practical sessions compared to regular colleges

my name is sayak, I pursued a bachelor of computer applications BCA from Indira Gandhi national Open University. The yearly fees was around ?13,400 which is quite affordable compared to other universities ignore offers great flexibility for distance learners and the study materials are well prepared the online support and regional centres are helpful but sometimes there are delays in assignment evolution and result publication overall is a good option for students looking for a recognized degree with flexible learning. There is no scholarship available for ignore students but once student can apply for national scholarship and I don't have too much knowledge about the scholarship.

The year wise fish I paid for the college was 17,000 My BCA is of three years So my total fees is 51,000. All the quota's like St and Obc Have the same fees. There is no management quota in our college. Scholarship is provided if your 12th grade is good Like if you have a greater percentage greater than 90 then you will offer the good amount of scholarship based on your semester performance scholarship are provided by the university. All My batchmate have the same fees.

I have done bca from ignou and the year course fees of ignou is 36,000 and for sc, st the university had given relaxation of 5000 and they had to only pay 30,000 for year course fees .Ignou provide financial aid only for sc, st and low background people .

Good college

Fees is less than other collages it is good for students who are poor .

it is more difficult for students who have practicals to learn from ignou because sometimes the studycenter may conduct practicals or not

I am pursuing Bca course at ignou open university.My yearly fees is 16000rs . In ignou we have to pay exam fee and practical fee. The amount is diferrent for every other subject of course.
