Course Curriculum Overview

5

Talking about my cource which is ba program in economics and mathematics it's an amazing cource with economics as your major which helps you analyse things driven by mathematics to support your descision making.

Internships Opportunities

3

Though our college is not that good in providing internships write now but they are on an improving note. They have collaborated with many companies and trying to provide us better opportunities. And I'm damn sure it will grow in future.

Fees and Financial Aid

So I'm pursuing my ba program in economics plus mathematics. It's quite a good course as i had a keen interest in economics. Talking about fee the clg asked around 15k in the first year. And ya they too provide scholarships.

Campus Life

3

The overall experience is quite mixed type. I love the college especially the play ground and the societies I have taken part in. These societies have helped me in developing my personality. But on the same side our college is on an improving stage it's improving day by day and is not up to that level as compared to other south campus colleges.

Admission

Okay so I gave the cuet exam and all the colleges including my Pgdav also takes the cuet scores. I also applied for the colleges of North campus like sri ram college of commerce for bcom Hons but bcz of low score i couldn't make it

Faculty

3

Okay so talking about the exam structure the clg follows the same as that followed by the university of delhi. We have total 2 semesters in a year each comprising of around 6 to 7 paper depending on the cource we study. In these we have 4 as our discipline subjects which have theory exam of 90 marks and practical of 70 including the attendance, assignments, class tests etc. rest 3 are the subjects which have theory of 30 marks like Vedic maths, business communication etc. there are some full practical exams also like the art of being happy and web development which don't include any theory and are fully practical based. As far the faculty is concerned the subject teachers are really cooperative whether it comes to academics or extra curricular activities. But the admission head and other teachers dealing subject allotment aren't that good. Some of them are very rude.

Night Life

5

Our college consists of a huge library, an attractive playground and a canteen too. We also have a auditorium on the first floor. Talking about the location it's near lajpat nagar and we can see many places like the Iskcon temple which is not too far from our college. We also have a bus stand in front of our college only where the dtc buses stop and make out life more convenient. The night view of our college seems to be very soothing like no chaos just peace I am too from the evening batch my classes start from 3 pm to around 8 pm and the life after 6pm is just amazing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral). My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
