Course Curriculum Overview

For the first year students is not free to choose the course . But for 2nd to 4th year free to choose course but we choose those type of course which is relevant to our branch for requirement of credit complition

Many companies offer under the internship with stipend in this year like adobe ,atlasean, microsoft,google , nvidia ,texas, future first , accenture etc Many companies want to main focus on dsa and DBMS web development etc.

In our college provide one student one internship policy . Where many students got pre placement offer letter and many students sit in placement.from startingof 3rd year students are eligible for apply

Fees and Financial Aid

No Semester wise fee will be paid In our college fee is on base of categories For st and sc students tution fee is zero and for general category and obc catagory tution fee is 100000 and the for the poor students whose parents income less than 5 lakh they paid fee is 2/3 rd of fee Other than that Institute fee is 6200

Campus Life

Rannitti is our sports annual festival in November and epecto is our technical festival held in April Library facilities is good in our college they bring all type of book and very short period Sport facility is also good they organised hostel general championship and many more sports event

Admission

I choose IIT MANDI for BTech because I give jee mains exam and after that jee advance and I crackey the exam . After that for admission I part in jossa counselling where I fill all college where I want to go where I got IIT Mandi .

Faculty

Student teacher ratio in our college is 8:1. Faculty to students relationship is good . We approach the faculty by writing an email . Here mainly exam are mid semester and end semester and quize other than that surprise quize ,viva , project

Night Life

Hostel time is 2 am Campus time is 10:30 pm Library time is 24/7 Gym time is 9pm Cafeteria is 2 am Vilagesqure , fountain area and many more outside of our campus mandi town where many temples and rewalsar lake

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

IIT Mandi- my home and karmbhoomi

Honestly I initially thought of branch change and college in some what cold place which led me to this college. Our college is moderate in comparison to other iits, obviously you cant compare it with old iits , but yeah its decent enough, having good students and friends. Placement of four college is better than other iits. Some years result in placement ogf good no. of students whereas some leads to okish. The sport facilities are ok. Swimming pool is not of olympic size and it requires lot of time for repair of the sport equipments. Admission process is through Jossa counselling after JEE Advanced. I applied for VIT, NIT BHOPAL, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Jammu, IIT BHU, IIT Ropar, NIT Durgapur, and many of the IITS and NITS. I choose only this so, didn't fill for confirmation for others. IIT MANDI KE ANSUNE KISSE

The admission process at IITs are generally common through a cmon entrance exam all over India named jee mains for nits and then after qualifying in that we need to score good in jee advanced. There are reservations for sc, st, obc and economically backward classes. Like you can get good branches with lower marks. For example in computer science you can get 6000 rank for obc but around 2000 for general candidates....Read More
