Course Curriculum Overview

4

BALLB is a professional course and it in influenced me because the lawyer can help you whenever you are in trouble so i decided to become a trouble solver by choosing law. in Amu it helps us to prepare for the real world applications by teaching us real case laws, moot court and intership. I think teacher should be more friendly and should be more practical while teaching, they should just depend on theoratical teaching. the frequency of exams are 36 per semester but it is not much diffucult to crack them.

Internships Opportunities

4

There one intership provided by the faculty when you are in the 5th year of law college, the intership is under the supreme court with 6 month of tenure and i belive its a good intership however i dont know about the stipend, i dont think there is any stipend.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 9000 and it include all the facilities provided by the university however hostel fees and dinning fees are sepereted. hotel fees is not much, its only 2500 for the whole. if talk about person with disablity, thier fees are very less, its like free for them. the scholarship is provide by the university and there are many scholarships such amu scholarship or sir syed scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The campus life is good, there are many fest such as cultural fest, annual fest, ramadan iftar party, sher shyariya contest and alot. there are games competition such as cricket, basketball and football. There is a library in the department where almost all types of books andnjournals are available. some classrooms have AC such as smart classroom and normal classroom also.

Hostel Facilities

1

the hostel room sucks, there is one large room with 14 to 15 beds for students which is not good. the meal provided by the hostel is suck too, to taste at all only wastage of money. there is registration process, you have only talk to the faculty. there are some PG available but it sucks too, the PGs are not like the PGs you imagine.

Admission

I choose this university because its a central university and it comes under top 10 rating however i wish to study in national law college but i could not make it there, well this university is good too and its among top 10 university The exam pattern is simple, total 100 MCQs comes in entrance exam with total 4 section, 40 questions from english, 20 from reasoning, 20 from poltcal science and 20 from GK and current affairs.

Faculty

3

The faculty is overall good but there are some pros and cons. it depends on professor to professor, some are helpful and good but some are not, the faculty of law is much better than the faculty of MBA because the professors of MBA are really hyporocratic. well overall there are 36 exams, the exams are categorized as GCT, tutorial, mid term exam, assigment, viva and final term exam. its easy to pass on the exam, its not that hard but it depends on the student to student.

Interview Experience

4

I only had to take the written test and did not face any interview after qalifying the exam. the entrance exam contain 100 questions with 40 question from english and 20 from reasoning and 20 from gk and 20 from legal studies

Night Life

3

Nightlife is normal not very fancy, there is no gym and the library also closed at night however some public area remain open. There is no hostel timing for boys but for girls there hostel timing, they should be in the hostel before 5pm which is discriminatory. the famouse hangout place in the college is only canteen and there is hangout place because the campus is very small

Course Curriculum Overview:

There has lot of visits like court visit, parliament visit, etc The curriculum provides a basic foundation of theoretical knowledge that is useful for understanding core concepts and for pursuing further academic studies, such as higher education or competitive examinations. It helps develop analytical thinking and subject awareness. There is significant scope for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The syllabus should be updated regularly to include recent developments, practical modules, project-based learning, internships, workshops, and skill-enhancement courses.Examinations are conducted frequently in the form of internal assessments, mid-semester exams, and end-semester exams, which sometimes creates academic pressure for students. The timing of exams is often closely packed, leaving limited time for proper preparation and revision. In terms of difficulty, the exams are generally of moderate level, though some subjects are challenging due to lengthy syllabi and conceptual depth.

Corporate Law is a subjects but no corporate placements as law firms were the sole contributors of our university. They gave as many placements as 30% students were placed and that too with very thin packages. So, university needs to fix this just like they have fixed every single thing at the campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements for Law are not comparable to the tech courses so far at GLA. Every year combining BBA LLB and BA LLB around 300 and I don't think even 100 are placed. So, GLA University will have to find a way to get atleast half the students find placements here and because I know my chances of getting placements are slim, I will be opting for doing LLM after I am done with LLB in 2027.

The college provide students with PDF lectures which focuses on personality development which includes confidence building, speaking and listening skills, etc. They also give tips for a better resume and how to give interview and prepare us for interviews by organising mock interviews. 5th year students are the focused students for the campus placement. Some students choose to be an advocate and others may prepare for higher studies and or prepare for judiciary and other civil services examinations. I personal preference to go for the one field which can open my ways for other field stoo.

Students from third year have started getting Pre-Placement Offers, but many of those are majorly due to their own accomplishments. Students get ample amount of time to intern at various law firms and courts, to secure a PPO on their own. In addition to this, the Internship and Placement Committee, often comes in aid to secure PPOs for the students of the graduating batch.
