Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum set by the university is quite relevant and comprehensive making it easier for students to relate and learn better. The teachers also help the student by providing them with notes when the students fails to comprehend things.

Placement Experience

3

AMU does provide placements, and their highest package is 50 lakhs, while their average package is approximately 5 lakhs. But the placement cell needs to be developed properly to give better placements for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had paid 12k approx during my admission, which was also the fee for the first year. I have availed no scholarship of any kind as of now. Since it is a central university, the student has a very less fee burden

Campus Life

5

The campus life of AMU is quite lively and full of life. The students have the option of joining different types of clubs, such as literature, music, drama, etc. Further, AMU, being an old university, has lot of infrastructural grandeur on the campus itself.

Hostel Facilities

3

AMU's hostel facility is quite a problem in the first year. Most student don't get a hostel in their first year, they live in PGs or share a flat with their friends. Every hostel has a limited dormitory for the ones who didn't get room in the first year and second year.

Admission

My elder brothers have studied at AMU and highly recommend it for me. I did apply to other colleges, but when I learned about their environment, I wasn't quite approving of their nature. The nature and environment of AMU help a student grow and do better in the future.

Faculty

3

The faculty members are quite helpful in all areas, though there are always exceptions. The course of every subject is decided with a lot of precaution keeping the time in mind, and the exam hall environment during semester exams is quite strict.

Interview Experience

3

I gave an admission test for getting into AMU, in which I ranked 49th All Over India (AIR). The exam was based on English, GK, Indi-Islamic, and the Aligarh Movement. The exam had 100 MCQs, which were of 1 mark each.

Night Life

4

The nightlife is also good, as most of the students tend to be awake and study in the library itself till it closes. During their study times, they take breaks and enjoy cups of tea over conversation with their friends.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus placement. However the campus placement doesn't prove very helpful. Few people get placement from B.A courses. Students of B.Com and B.Sc are more likely to get placement.

Remarks:

Any of my siblings studied from this college which gave me a clear view of the environment of this college from the start. It was also very close to my home making it easier for me to commute daily. And as I always wanted to study in an all girls college, this seemed a better option. It had good faculty and infrastructure making it different from other colleges around.

Firstly I will tell you positive thing • Professors are really helpful • Conducive environment for those who wish to study. Negative thing is- • One would found some Holly gun in the college premises, but don't worry about that PAC is always present in college Campus.
