Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is mostly similar to bachelor of computer science we are taught the same subjects as them. The course is very well organised and many new things are included. They revise their syllabus frequently to maintain the advancement.

Internships Opportunities

4

Mainly in my college internship opportunities are given to bcom srudents and computer science students. Its not that other course don't have any chance but they have less chance as comapred to these two courses.we have a placement cell in our college which provide info regarding all these .

Fees and Financial Aid

Hello everyone , i am a 2nd year student in maitreyi college , University of delhi. Per year fees for my course was 11,000 in 1st year then it increased in 2nd year it was around 12000. I am living in college hostel its fees is quite high , 180000 per year . But facilities are good and hostel is inside college campus so no traveling cost. For OBC and SC,ST and single parent students they offer scholarship on course fees. I would suggest if only you are getting your desired course then only get enrolled here, other wise the cost of living is quite high.

Campus Life

4

The campus life of college is very nice. It has a very beautiful campus and our college has got best garedening prize also. Its environment is very peaceful and full of grrenery in winters it looks mesmerizing. And the area where it is located is also high secutity area. Many foreign countries embessy are there around . The student union of our college frequently coducts various events which keeps a spark among students .

Hostel Facilities

3

The hsotel faciltiy of my college is good but the fees they are taking is really very much high . 180000 for one year is so much. It is very high as comapred to other du college's. Also the pgs in nearby area are very costly . You can prefer taking shared apartment it can cut your cost. Otherwise the cost of living is high in this area.

Admission

I choose du over other college beacuse it has a brand name. Many people dream to study here so did i. The course which i was geeting met my requirement so i went for this college. I applied for other north campus colleges also but i didn't got required marks. The cutoff for north campus colleges were very high and also one major mistake i did was i only gave exam for 1 domain subject which is not at all recommended to you all please give test for atelast 2 domains and english , gt are compulsory. Definitely keep this in mind dont get manipulated by any other youtube channels.

Faculty

5

In my department teachers are very well educated and they have good teaching skills. They are very cooperative and understanding. They are approachable and always available for doubts. In one year we have 2 semesters one in december and other in may or june. Then your get your final cgpa according to toral marks obtained in both the semseters .in computer departmnet rupali mam, shikha mam, jyotsna mam all of them are very good teachers.

Night Life

4

We dont have gym in our college . But a good facility of libraray and canteen is given to us. Near by we have satya niketan the most famous place to hangout . You will get various beautiful cafes to hangout , it is one stop place for all kind of things you need whether grocery , stationary and also all kind of food items . and also bangla sahib guru dware is near to satya niketan . Also we have nehru park near our college .

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
