- College's atmosphere is very positive and friendly we have various societies like art society music society
- There's no problem of ragging there' olps anti ragging department in office
- There isn't much problem about maintaining 75% attendance becoz we get 30% attendance from college societies
Dislikes
- The campus is quite small than i expected and the college playground is share with another du College
- The faculty is little inefficient, some teachers r irresponsible
- Freshers wasn't great very mid , no such exciting fests happens
Course Curriculum Overview
BSc(H) Microbiology is a quote relevant field to study in today's world keeping in view the recent pandemics and rise of antibiotic resistant bacterial infections BSc Hons Microbiology has good job opportunities and also it has good options in PhD and research Our practicals ar also quite extensive moreover we can perform the experiments as many times as we want to get well versed with the course The labs should be more protected Teachers should include interactive lectures then just sliding ppts The frequency of exams r just ok according to me
Fees and Financial Aid
Program fees is 22670rs there no caution fee or other miscellaneous fees The other fees that r levied r the fees required for DU counselling which is around 1000 Fee hasn't increased in this year There aren't any such scholarship as far as I have knowledge
Campus Life
Campus life is average I have joined art society and I get to involve in art societies events and other activities My own Microbiology society also hosts quiz competitions scientist conversations U can issue sport equipments from sports room and play Infrastructure is satisfactory and faculties r quite good Library is very good I found all the books related to the course I wanted and i can issue them and keep with myself for a good period of time
Admission
I choose Ram Lal Anand College because its a on campus college of DU The other college was Bhaskaracharya college of science I didn't go for it because it's an off campus college of DU And on campus college of DU has benefits regarding placements To get into Ram Lal Anand College u need to clear CUET exam in pcb with good marks
Faculty
Well in my college in my microbiology department has good faculty to student ratio we have 2 teachers per subject one for lectures and another for practical classes we have lab assistants In microbiology department I liked Miss Nidhi Verma coz she explains well I just finished 1st semester, in 1 semester there's internal test for internal assessment that comes into consideration with practical and attendance this class test occurs 2-3 times to mark the best out 3 And then we have 1 end semester exam of 90marks The exams r very easy if u study well About 4-5 Students gave back exams this sem Exams r quite relevant with the course
Night Life
My college doesn't have hostel facility So it doesn't have any night life We have canteen for fooding during day hours Canteen food is ok packeaged foods r good But cooked foods r below average Famous hangout places outside college r Satya Square there are many cafeterias restaurants in Satya niketan
