Course Curriculum Overview
Actually I'm from ECE department but my passion lies in IT & software industry. So as per my opinion curriculum is very difficult to me because I don't know the basics of electronics, electricals, etc
Internships Opportunities
There are some internship opportunities at our college which will provide practical experience in the domains of VLSI, Software, etc. We have to do a mini project and also we have a project work phases in our curriculum
Placement Experience
Placements at Vardhaman College are excellent like atleast they will set us into any job with any package. From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The top companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte are hiring students from my college. Highest package offered is 30-50 LPA and Average package is offered 4-5 LPA. 80% of vardhaman students are getting placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
1) Admission fees is taken in only first year i.e., 8,000 2) Tuition fees for each year is 1,40,000 3) Exam fees for each semester is 2,200 4) 35,000 scholarship is providing by the government who came with EAMCET exam & counselling. There is full fee reimbursement for SC, ST & below 10,000 rank holders in EAMCET
Campus Life
We have Student affairs cell (SAC) at our college which will conduct and manage many technical and non-technical events. There are many events happening for example Festronix, Ortus, Tejas, etc. Coming to library, there is thousands of books and journals and we are glad to have a wonderful library at our college. There are PPT, Fans facilities are available in a class room. There are many students in a college who manage the different clubs in different fields & industries
Admission
In my EAMCET counselling I selected top 10 Engineering colleges in Hyderabad for example JNTUH, CBIT, VNR VJIET, Vasavi, GRIET, MGIT, BVRIT, Vardhaman, VJIT, etc. In first phases I got a seat at VJIT in ECE but in last phase I secured a seat at Vardhaman College of Engineering in ECE. In my college mostly they prefer students from EAMCET, and then JEE MAINS
Faculty
1) I don't know exactly but approximately the faculty-to-student ratio is 1:5 2) The relationship between student and faculty depends on faculty. Some are good and free with us and some are very strict 3) Per semester there is 5 theory exams and 3-4 lab exams 4) Some subjects are complicated to study like BEE, M2, etc and some subjects are simple and easy like Chemistry, English
Night Life
We will stay night at our college only one day per year because the event Ortus is going to happen in night till 10 pm. We also have a facility of cafeterias, Library and public areas. College timings are from 9:10 am - 4:20 pm
