Course Curriculum Overview

4

The most important thing in our college curriculum is that our course is based on experiments and labs according to new education policy. They help a lot in real world application. Some equipments are of old days so they need to be improve. The frequency of exams are not fixed and college gives notice some days before examinations.

Internships Opportunities

4

I personally do not have any internship experience but I did vocational training in My summer vacations in my second semester with is compulsory for every even semester. Students are eligible from their fifth semester for the internship and female candidates also get reservation from programs like women of metal.

Placement Experience

4

Placement of our college is on the better side for core branches but for circuit branches or placement is suffering a little bit. From 7th semester students are eligible for the placement drive. Our average packages is about 8 lakh and highest package is about 50 lakh. Almost every student gets placed in core branches.

Fees and Financial Aid

My total annual fee is about 10000 in which approx1900 is my institution fee and 7500 is taken as student fund fee because I am from reserved category. For underserved category institution fee is about 7600. Annual hostel maintenance fees about 9500 and monthly mess fee is approximately 4000. Extra exam charges are taken 500 per subject.

Campus Life

4

Our annual sports event is shardha in which every type of sport is included. We don't have any annual fest but a lot of technical events are organised by technical clubs. Blood donation camp send cloths donation drives are organised by social clubs. We also have a large central library.

Hostel Facilities

3

We live four person in a single room in second year and we use to leave 5 person in first year. Facilities are not so good in hostel and mess food is very bad. You have to apply at College website for allocation of hostel after you get the admission. You can change the menu of mess with support of your hostel mates.

Admission

I didn't apply for any other college because this college provide 100% reservation for Jharkhand resident and I am one of them. It is a very good college for low percentage students in JEE mains. You have to apply for Jharkhand counselling to get admission in this. There are no extra interviews.

Faculty

4

Our faculty to student ratio is about one by 65. I love all the faculties because they are very experience and all of them are PhD holders. This relation with students is very friendly. We are having two internals and one external exams and one Viva also. The exam difficulty level is moderate and about 35% of student fail to pass the exam.

Night Life

4

Our nightlife is very boring in campus but we enjoy a lot with our friends at hostel because wardens are very supportive and you will feel free here. There is no closing time for boys hostel but for girls it is 8:00. we have a nice cafe to hangout.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
