Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is constantly updated so it always stays relevant according to the current landscape of the job market. The teachers could use more practical examples as it would help the students understand better. Exams are every 2 months and are medium to difficult in level

Internships Opportunities

5

There are many internship oppurtunites from major companies like microsoft, nvidia, infosys. The companies start hiring after 2nd year and it can be paid or unpaid. The best ones get paid stipdends of 40k per month. The projects done are about helping the senior workers code and make their life easier

Placement Experience

4

The placemetns are extremely high. The average package for all the branches is approximately 10LPA, whereas for the individual averages for the higher packages it goes upto 16-17lpa. The cgpa wise packages are 23LPA for students with 9CGPA+, 18LPA for students with 8CGPA+. The students are eligible from 8th semester onwards. Almsot all the major companies come and the placement rate is 76%, approximately 800 out of 1200. The highest package last year was 1cr pa. I plan on either opening a startup or getting into a good company and building my career there

Fees and Financial Aid

In my branch, there will be 1 yearly installment. There will be arefundable caution deposit worth 10000rs, a first year tution fee of 304000rs and other deposits 183000rs. for the remaining three years it will be equal tution and extra fees of 340000 and 183000rs respectively, amounting to a total of 1958000 for graduation. Admision fees was rs 600 for all courses ad rs2000 for a selected course. for NRI the fees will be 51000 usd for the for four years. The college provides many scholarship raging from 20% to 50% depending on your cgpa( needs to be 8+).

Campus Life

5

The campus has a great social lfie. there are three fests, utsav for sports, reveles for culture and techtatva for tech. revels being in march , utsav also march and techtatva in september. the library has a long a range of titles and papers. the classrooms are advanced with projectors and speakers for the teacher. The sports is one of the best in south india with a massive gym and basketball court along with badminoton, football, cricket, tennis, table tennis etc. The number of clubs is honestly crossing 100 and each have studetn leaders. They can be really impactful on a students career

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostels are great and have a wide variety. From ac to common washroom to triple sharingg to single, every person can be accomadated here depending on his/her personal choice. They privide cleaning 3 times a week and give pillow and mattresses. The food is good you get non-veg and veg on alternate days and egg being there when chicken is not. Pgs are available everywhere and its no problem to get one. Hostels are slightly expensive as they range from 80000 per year to 180000

Admission

I applied to many colleges. JEE, BITSAT, VITEE, AND KCET. i got into all except JEE. i chose this college over the others because i got my desired branch and i felt like other than BITS and JEE(which i did not get into) it was a better college then the rest. The admission recquires me to give an exam called MET which was 12th grade syllabus. The elegibility is 12th pass.

Faculty

4

I would say there are aroudn 50 students per faculty member. Most of the teachers are approachable and always ready to solve doubts or answer queries. My favourite teachers are Vineeth Patil in Electrical and Divya deepak in mechnical because they explained every concept clearly. All my teachers were good. There are two exaqms per semester with many assignments in between. The exams are easy to difficult and recquire a good amount of effort

Night Life

5

The night life is amazing as its a studetn town so the amenities are built for students, good restuarnts , good clubs and good eateries are common in a 5 km range. It has innumerable gyms and librarie. The campsu gates close at 10 for first years and 11 for seniors in the night. The favourite hangout spots are places like machli, dexters, eye of the tiger etc

the placement rate says 100% but you have to be maintaining 7.25 cgpa in order to sit for the placements and they are classified into 1) mass recruiters 2) dream companies3) superdream companies for which you will need 9 and above cgpa. i personally am dependent on placement or i also am appearing for the GATE entrance exam in my 3rd year as well as my 4th year and will see where life leads me but honestly i just want to start working and gaibn indstry experience and make money and develop skills faster

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.
