THERE WAS NO ASPECTS THAT SOMEBODY ENCOURAGED ME TO DO SO , IT WAS MY OWN DECISION TO DO SO . IT GIVEN WELL KNOWLEDGE TO PREPARE MY SELF AS MUCH AS I CAN . ALSO I WAS PREPARING FOR GOVERMENT EXAMS . SO I WAS ABLE TO ATTEND A LOT CLASSES THOUGH , BUT WHENEVER I HAVE VISITED TO THERE IT HAS GIVEN ME A GOOD VIBE . THAT IS ALL KNEW ABOUT THAT .

I HAVE PAID AROUND 4500 PER YEAR FOR MY COURSE . THHERE WAS NO CATEGORIES WISE FEES SUBMISSION . IN 4500 , IT WAS INCLUDED THE TUITON FEES AND MAINTAINENCE FEES AS WELL . IT WAS AN OPEN LEARNIING COLLEGE , THERE WAS NO AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL AID THAT ARE AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS.

Campus Life

THERE WAS A FEST EVERY 6 MONTHS . YES, THERE WAS GOOD FACILITIES FOR STUDY MATERIALS AND BOOKS . I HAVE COMPLETED MY COURSE THROUGH GETTING BOOKS FROM MY LIBRARY . BUT THERE IS SOME ISSUE WITH THE CANTEEN SERVICE WHICH WAS NOT REALLY GOOD . I ALWAYS GO OUT TO EAT ANYTHING I WANT . THERE WAS ALSO THE SPORTS SOCIETY FOR THOSE WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THAT . AND SO DOES FOR EVERY ACTIVITY LIKE DANCE , SINGING, AND SO ON .....

I HAVE APPLIED FOR DELHI UNIVERSITY FOR REGULAR AND OPEN AS WELL . BUT GOT DISQUALIFIED DUE TO MY CASTE CERTIFICATE . SO I HAVE CHOOSEN THE OPEN LEARNING OPTION , WHICH IS REALLY GOOD FOR THEM WHO ARE PREPARING FOR ANOTHER EXAMS , THERE NO ATTENDENCE ISSUES , SO AS ANYBODY PREPARING FOR EXAMS CAN OPT THAT OPEN LEARNING PROGRAMME . TALKING ABOUT THE ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA , 12TH PASSED OUT STUDENT CAN APPLY FOR THAT WITH A GOOD SCORE .

THERE WAS 2: 49 RATIO OF FACULTY TO STUDENT . THE FACULTY WAS NICE TO STUDENT . AND THERE IS GREAT RELATIONSHIP BETWWEEN STUDENTS AND FACULTIES . IT SEEMS LIKE FRIENDLY BEHAVIOR FOR STUDENT TO ASK ANYTHING TO THEIR PROFESSOR . THERE WAS A PROFESSOR NAMED KARAN , HE WAS SO SWWEET TO ALL OF US . THERE WAS 6 SMESTER OVER THE 3 YEAR OF DURATION . THERE WAS A STRICT RULE FOR EXAMS , WHO HAD NOT STUDIED WELL , SO AS TO GONE FAIL . THIS WAS SO RELEVANT .

Night Life

AS I HAVE STUDIED OPEN SCHOOL , SO I DON'T HAVE ANY AWARENESS ABOU THE NIGHT LIFE OF MY COLLEGE . THERE WAS NO HOSTELS , BUT I HAVE VISITED TO MALLS AND PARKS AROUND THAT ... WHICH WAS SO NICE TO GO FOR THOSE WHO ARE YOUNG . MOST OF THEM GO THERE AND ENJOY LIKE IN CLUBS AND THEATRES , I ALSO WENT THERE [PACIFIC MALL ] . I HAVE ENJOY A LOT AFTER CLASSES BY GOING THERE AND HANGING OUT WITH MY CLASSMATES .

the whole reason i chose jims kalkaji is beacuse of placements it is popular for placements it offers multiple placements after your 3rd or 4th year of specializtion different multiple companies come here to pick students.

The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
