MY EXPERIENCE AT MNNIT ALLAHABAD

Placement of electrical department is 20.36 lpa according to the recent data which is a major factor why people join this branch . Location of the institute : The city Prayagraj is close to my home city of Bareilly . For practical knowledge we have lab facilities like various subjects have theory as well as lab components with them which helps the students to understand the subject more easily. Quality of teaching can be improved by making the class more engaging and interactive . We have 2 exams per semester of medium difficulty the mid sem exam and the end sem exam

Companies and the Role offeredby them along with stipend are: Microsoft , role offered is of software intern with a stipend of 30000 INR. Amazon , role offered is of Data Analyst Intern with a stipend of 25000 INR. Samsung, role offered is of Research intern with a stipend of 20000 INR.

From 7th semester onwards students are able to apply for placements Infosys , Oracle , Microsoft , Samsung , TATA , IBM , Apple , Amazon ,Tech Mahindra ,Wipro ,Zepto etc. In 2024 total 968 offers were made in the B.Tech domain. Microsoft Highest Package - Rs 71.14 lakhs per annum Average Package - Rs 19.84 lakhs per annum Amazon Highest Package - 18 lakhs per annum Average Package - 18 lakhs per annum Apple Highest Package - 33.5 lakhs per annum Average Package - 12.78 lakhs per annum My plan is to get placed from the college alongwith getting my degree.

The year wise fees for my course is Rs 1,92,000 including the hostel fees of Rs 12,000 and exculding the mess fees of Rs 25,000. Tution fees for a person whose family income is above Rs 5 lakh per annum is Rs 62,500 per semester, caution fees is Rs 5000 which is only paid for the first semester. For a person whose family income is between 1 - 5 lakh per annum his/her tution fees is Rs 20,833 per semester along with a caution money of Rs 5,000 which has to be paid only for the first semester For a person whose family income is below 1 lakh per annum or the person belongs to S.C/S.T category than his/her tution fees is zero but he/she needs to pay a caution fees of Rs 5,000 for the first semester. Hostel fees of Rs 12,000 is paid by every individual who is willing to stay in the hostel regardless of his/her category or family income. U.P government offers a scholarship for the students who are financially weak ( family income less than 2 lakhs per annum ) of Rs 60,000.

Between Feb-March we have our annual fest (cultural+technical) , the cultural fest is clurav and the technical fest is named as avishkar Many books and journals are available in our library some are even dated around 1950s. Classrooms have A.Cs and fans along with projectors. It has many types of sports activites and also has various clubs for the same like cricket , badminton,basketball,hockey,kho-kho,table tennis,lawn tennis etc extracurricular activities like yoga,instrument ,vocal ,NSS are also availbale. Clubs like eco club exist in the college also A scheme named as anokhi pahel runs for the local students belonging to under priveldged background ,under this scheme students of mnnit provide them education via teaching them

Things available in the rooms are wardrobe,bed,study table, chair and a shelf to keep items . Meal quality is ok in my hostel which works according to the menu prepared by the hostel president which is a student who is selected after various selection rounds.

M.N.N.I.T is performing good in this domain with an increase in number of offers offered to the student by the companies visting th institute Location Prayagraj is closer to my home city Bareilly as compared to the other colleges To reach this college one has to clear Joint Entrance Exam (Mains) conducted by National Testing Agency , the cutoff for this exam was 93 percentile last year.

faculty here is highly knowledgeable but most of them lacks in teaching the students in a detailed manner . Although some of the faculties here are amazing like Mr. ravi praksh sir who teaches physics using all his knowledge and his concern his easily visible which is to make the students understand physics and not to cram it. We have mid sem ,end sem exams in each semester and an academic year is comprised of two semesters so we have to give 4 exams yearly which are medium rated difficuly wise.

various canteens are in the college for the students like dewsis, and some local canteens where the students can just chill out with their friends after a hectic day gym is available and library is also accessible for the students.
