Bits is the best private college in india and it is considered best college in after the top 7 IITs. The course curriculum is very updated according to real world. We will have an exam every 10-15 days ( quizzes or mid or comprehensive). Exams will be moderately difficult ( balancing both bits standard and students)

You can attend for placements in 4-1 or 4-2 not both. No of offers made: Microsoft-8, google-6, Deshaw-5, Trexquant-4, amazon-15, flipkart-10, IMC-3, uber-8. Almost everyone gets placed, if minimum academics are maintained. I am planning to do job after graduation.

The approx fee is 6,00,000 per annum. Tution fee is 2,20,000 per semester. Admission fee is 50,000.hostel and mess charges include 25,000 per semester. There is no reservation in our college so fee is same for everyone. 2 types of scholarships Merit: for top 1% (acc to cgpa) -100% concession on tution fee, for top 3% -80% concession on tution fee. Merit and need:above 8.5 cgpa - 80%, above 6.5 cgpa - 40%

We have 3 fests. Bosm( bits pilani official sports meet) in October. Oasis ( cultural fest) in november Apogee ( technical fest) in april. The library is very good and has huge collection of books if all genre. We have Ac, projector, speakers etc in class rooms. We have cricket nets, ground, badminton courts, gym, table tennis, volleyball courts, football ground etc There are many departments and clubs including various interests. The fests are also student run, departments do various works in fests.

We have single and double rooms, studytable, cupboards, are provided. Meal quality is excellent, rotis and dal, curry, rice, dal afe provided. Registration process for hostel is done along with semester registration.

My idea was to join in a good college that can provide me a good placement. My jee advanced rank was 3623 ( open category) for which i was getting admission into top IITs but i couldn't make it to computer science which was my interest. So i choose bits. You should write bitsat and get a minimum 290+ to get computer science. There is no reservation in bits.

You will be informed the time slots at beginning of each semester to meet profs. They are quite friendly and supportive. I like jagat sesh challa sir, he teaches excellently and he is very supportive to students. There will 1 mid, 1 comprehensive and some quizzes in each subject, to clear the exam you should score atleast 10% of course topper which is very easy and very few people (3 or 4) fail.

Gym is open in 3 slots. 6:30 am to 8:30 am 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Library is open till 12 midnight. Campus eateries are open till 2 am There is no intime for hostel, you can enter whenever you want, the campus intime is 8:30pm. Anc, tott, T-lawns, Rotunda, saraswati temple are few hangout places. The camous is absolutely safe to roam during nights, you can find many people roaming in nights.
