Course Curriculum Overview

4

This course provide lots of job opportunities. The curriculum prepares how to deal with big problems in real life by teaching the new ideas of learning theoretically and practically. The thing they need to improve the way of teaching, they should find out some interesting ways to teach.

Internships Opportunities

5

Many big companies like TCS, Infosys, Pushpa jwellers and other companies come over to hire the talented ones. They hire for high posts and offer a great package for freshers. Many of my seniors are hired by them and they are living a great standard of life.

Placement Experience

4

The placements of the college is good. Many big companies come to hire freshers. Companies like , TCS, Infosys and many others come to our college to hire the deserved ones. And those who did not get hired have many opportunities in future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The basic fees for semester was Rs. 33000/- per semester. But now it is Rs. 38000/- per year that means Rs.19000/- per semester. I exactly don't know the breakdown of the fees but all the tution fees, caution fees, registration fees and etc. are included in that. Except this we need to just pay separately the exam fees as per semester examination . The examination fees we need to pay is around Rs. 400-500 /- per semester.

Campus Life

5

The college organises an event every year called "Ripples" in which they invite one celebrity to perform and inspire use. Keeping this side the college also organise many sports events and talent hunt shows that being out the real talent of students.

Admission

I chose this college because my most of the friends were taking admission in this college. I also liked the infrastructure of the college which also attracted me too take admission in this college. To take admission in our college we need to fill the admission form of the college from it's website and then wait for merit list. According to the merit list you can complete the admission procedure by paying the admission fees.

Faculty

2

The faculty to students ratio is 44 students per teacher. The faculty is just there to finish your syllabus by any how. They provide 2-3 teachers on a single subject. They don't teach interestingly inspite they just teach rudely.

Night Life

4

For hanging out there is a canteen but it is not so awesome but there is a big campus to have a walk with friends, playground to play with friends. The library of the college is awesome why where you can get books for rent free by using a library card which you need to apply for.

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.
