Course Curriculum Overview
The reason I choose this course is I had a bit of intrest in the subject. The curricular is suitable to persue and it also support as well. The frequency is not too much for the exam and not too difficult if you study well.
Internships Opportunities
From 3rd year anyone can apply for intership from any branch.Some student also get PPO after Internship. I am first year student so I don't have the specific knowlege this field but as far as I know it has been great.
Placement Experience
The placement is highest among all the NITs taking about median. Numbers of companies visit every year whose stats availble on college website. The average of my branch was 21 lakhs this year and 79 out of 80 were placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees I've paid is 1,17,000 is my first year. I recieved the benefit of my family income which is less than 1 lakhs so my whole tution fee is deducted which same for a student belonging to SC/ST category irrespective for family income. The mess fee is 25000 per semester and some amount also refund at the end of first year. If someone belong to general category with family income greater than 5 lakhs, he will be paying 1,19,000 per semester.
Campus Life
The campus life is decent with academic pressure as well. The college fest happens every year in November 'Culrav and Avishkar'. More than a lakhs books available in library also having technical facilities. Annual sports meet happens every year in Jan to support sports spirit in college.
Hostel Facilities
In the first year, it has two room attached. One to sleep and one to study. Each room has three occupancy bed, almirah, table, chair and has a balcony with proper window. Also hostel management maintain cleanliness throughout.
Admission
The first thing is, it was not too far from my home and has a good reputation. I saw the placement stats and search about the college life and asked some senior. For admission you have to qualify JEE mains and apply for JOSAA counselling.
Faculty
The faculty of MNNIT are good, qualified and some of them have more interest than students themselves. Some following their passion and teach by heart. Some we find just doing there job and that's it. Overall the faculty is good. The exam are moderate. If you study 2h a day it is easy to get 8.5+ cpi.
Night Life
The in time for first year is 10 O' clock. Having gym library open till 11 pm I guess. You can enjoy every second in hostel with friend and can hangout in canteen, and can also play badminton and TT as well .
