It's good they follow University of calcutta cource structure and the exam structure is also like Calcutta University its has 6 semisters two semister in a year. And we have tontake 2pass course subject.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Moderate not too costly not too cheap.the yearly fee is 57,000 for bsc in computer science.in the first year but after that thee fee is 44000 per year. So its moderate as the class rooms are ac and Good infrastructure

Campus Life

My college has the best lab in calcutta and in my college you can polish your extra curricular activities like it has 17 extra curricular activities and 10 extra cources using which you can excel in your life.

Admission

I got admission by filling up the admission form after that i got selected in the 1st merit list thrn took admission by paying online then they gave me a date by sms on that day i had to submit all the documents after that they gave me the id card and the process got compelted

Faculty

Its a good college it doesn't have any ragging or any issues regarding party and politics and the teaching staffs are also great they re very friendly and they also give us doubt clearing classes.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course theory helps us gain a solid understanding of the subject matter. Film studies and Mass Communication theory classes has laid down the foundation of the subject- from what is a shot and the kinds of shots and angles, to the beginning of radio in India and essays by CS Pierce and John Berger. The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
