Course Curriculum Overview

4

The reason behind to choose this course is the demand of artificial intelligence in the real world is increasing day by day and this the best college in Odisha to choose the course .there should be improvement in applications based field than theoretical field so that we are exposed to real world more .One disliking things is the frequency of exams are not well scheduled because after 3-4 moths there is a semester exam so it is little bit of difficult to manage all of these things

Internships Opportunities

3

Yes , here more companies like Accenture, IBM, Tatasteels , tcs and flipkart come and offered placement and internship to students more often and paid internship and non internships are also provided to students as per their skills

Placement Experience

4

From 6 th semester students become eligible for campus placements . TCS, Cisco , Ancceture,IBM,Maruti Suzuki ,Asian paints ,filpkart, GODREJ etc.. and lots of students got placed and highest packege is 17 lakh this year and average package is 6.06 lakh almost 90% students getting placements.my plans after degree is to do job in my respective field .

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 57,330 and will be paying 57,330 .Here the tuition fees per year is 77000 And registration fees is 10660 for hostels and mess fees per year is 27000 and we are paying the required amount semester wise and no lab fees, development fees, caution fees required but if you delay in your application process then you have to pay fine for that so these are the total fee structure

Campus Life

4

The annual techfest known as perception held in between nov - dec and cultural fest known as Xtasy held in between March and April . Every type of books accessible in libraries . To be honest there are no technological provisions within the classrooms ,yes there are opportunities in sports and extracurricular activities in campus and there are varities of clubs in our college like zairza , robocet etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yeah , there are 3 bed room and also 2 bed room provided in hostels with washrooms and quality of meal in really good as compared to other institutions and registration process for hostels are same as before that is 5330 per semester and In every room there is a window , door and wardrobe etc..

Admission

I applied to vssut, burla and I got confirmed from this college in ECE branch then upgraded the branch and I got IT branch then after internal updation I got CSE( Aiml) branch in CET bbsr which is the best college in Odisha .I didn't get rejection from any college .The admission process of our college is through ojee counselling according to jeemain or ojee rank and the cutoffs for this college is almost 3 lakh rank in jeemain and 900 in ojee and the overall admission experience is good

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is 1:50 and the relationship between students and faculties are good and students are more approachable to faculties. I like all the mathematics faculty and biswa sir from chemistry department the most because of their teaching skills and I donts like electrical faculty except RN pradhan sir because they are unnecessarily strict. There are 2 mid semester and 2 semester in a academic year and the exams are overall well organised and easy to moderated and out of 100 students 5-6 students fail to clear the exam and the courses are curriculum

Night Life

5

Yeah , night out activities are awesome and famous hangout place in college is OUTR giri and canteen area and hang out places are barunei ,deras ,jhumka dam etc and gym facilities are given in every hostels and also libraries

Other Applied Colleges

Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology - [VSSUT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Because CET, Bhubaneswar having more placement opportunities than Vssut, burla in tech field and artificial intelligence is rulling the world now a days so I preferred it over vssut

Stduents get eligible from 5th semester for placements peaking at 6th semester of the college. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Tiger Analytics etc came but big pacakge placements offers are low . The highest package was 32 LPA and the average goes to 5-6LPA. The percentage goes to 90 % for placements. After getting degree you can go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

Curriculum is like ok for an govt engineering college not like an iit/nit. There are many departments where equipments are very old & haven't changed for a long time. Exams are conducted very fast like mid sem is conducted in 1/1.5 months and end sem is in 2 months

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
