Overall Experience of LNMIIT

The curriculum is fairly covers all important topics that are useful thereby making the course more profound. Curriculum here prepares you and challenges you to work on real world problems and enhances your logic building. But the corse here is mostky covered in C language that is ver ineffcient from the interview point of view. Suprise quizzes along with mid term and end term are there.The overall level is quite diificult of these papers.

Few top companies provide the intership opportunities like Microsoft , Amazon , Adobe and many more and stipends vary with skills you posses. Apart from it the college itself offers a internship opportunity named LUSIP.

The students are highly passionate here.The students become eligible for campus placements soon after 6th semester but the internship offers start way before.A large number of companies visit the campus like Microsoft India, Media.Net,Intutit India and many more. The hightest package offered this year is 52 lakh and the average package goes on for nearly 14 lakhs. Approximately 90 percent of the students get placed every year. I too am planing to find a good offer and apply for multinational companies.

So the fees is nearly 5 lakhs for college per year without hostel and mess charges.Hostel and mess charges accounts nearly one lakh per year.The fees is also expected to increase every year by 5 to 10 percent.The college provides scloarship for students who have secured a rank below 12000 in jee advanced at the time of initial admission,further the scloarships are provided on the basis of CGPA you get in your semesters. Merit Scolarships: -> First Semester: Top 20 rankers int the JEE advanced exam receive upto Rs 35000 per semester. -> Second Semester:Students with a CGPA of 9.25 and above receive a scloarship based on CGPA -students with CGPA 9.81-10 receive Rs 35000 as scloarship. -stduents with CGPA 9.51-9.8 receive Rs 30000 as scloarship. -students with CGPA 9.25-9.5 receive Rs 25000 as scloarship.

Here 3 major fests are there namely: Plinth->Tech Fest Vivacity->Cultural Fest Desportivos->Sports Fest All 3 fets are top notch welcoming people from different parts of country infact many IITs and NITs also participate in the events. The library is one among the few in the state offering a wide variety of books. All the classrooms are well technoligally equipped making the studies more interactive. There are many clubs on campus in various fields like technology,sports,cultutral and many more.

The mess here is very good ,like the variety of food is vast and arter every meal desserts are cherry on the cake. The hostel rooms are pretty fine allowing 2 students to accomodate in a room.There is no provision for renting a room or pg nearby.

I got a confirmed admissions in a lot of private colleges based on my JEE percentile,but it was the best possible option because the other better colleges did not offer me coding branch and other colleges were not at par with LNMIIT. I got admissions by giving papers from VIT,MANIPAL,SRM,BITS(in lower branches). Best thing about this college is its coding culture and placements that are far better than the other colleges.

The faculty is one amongst the top in the country.The teachers here are highly qualified and have in depth knowledge of the subject.The teachers have no attitude and are very humble and always open to doubts and problems.The faculty is very easily approacable and friendly in a good way. Apart from quizes mid sem and end sem are prominent exams.It is true that the academics of LNMIIT is very tough.The grading pattern is relative thereby helping students.

There is no night life in LNMIIT as the hostels in time is 10:45 P.M. and major of the places are also closed by that time. The campus in timings on the other hand is uptill 10 P.M. only. The campus is very safe for students and guards are everywere ensuring safety.
