Course Curriculum Overview

4

There is no such specific aspects of curriculum that influenced me to choose this course, I choosed because I'm intrested in this field. I think couse curriculum and teaching method can be improved by adding some technical knowledge into medical field. The frequency of exam is good. Difficultly level is medium which is good for us.

Internships Opportunities

3

I really don't know about companies but internships are available in this college after final year i.e after 4.5 years. Stipend is not so high, it's just 17500 rupees per month now and people are doing strike for increasing stipend amount.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our Admission fee included Hostel fee, Maintenance fee, Tuition fee is 30000 for 1st year for girls but for boys it is around 40000. Admission fee is independent of categories. Then there will be Exam fee before University exam which includes tuition fee of next year, examination fee and maintenance fee that is arounf 12000 for girls and 18000 for boys. This is for every upcoming years. Mess is private and mess fee is 3000 per month. Fee for every categories are same but not same for girls and boys i.e for gender difference. There is no such scholarship given from college, but one can apply for government scholarship such as E-Kalyan for our state, which will be approved from college. Every category students can apply for this scholarship.

Campus Life

2

Campus here is not so good and there is only one club in our college that is rotractary club. There is one annual fest named as SYNAPSE. There is no such holidays other than national festivals. Our library has all types of books. It's good but sometimes there are technical issues. Our classrooms has blackboard as well as digital board. Good facilities of classroom but not best. No other extracurricular activities happens other than sports.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel rooms are not too good. But we can adjust. In 1st year 4 girls in each room, in 2nd year 2 girls in each room and in 3rd and onwards single room for each. Hostel fee is around 6000 per year. It is of government.

Admission

I choosed this college because it's 2nd college of our state and I was not getting 1st college by ranking. But after coming here I know every medical college is good in itself. System of institution is same in all colleges. I applied for all colleges of my state by its ranking, but I got this one. For getting admission in this college, you have to crack the NEET UG exam and after getting the result , if you are qualified then apply for state counselling and All India counselling according to your marks.

Faculty

3

Faculties are sufficient except in 1 or 2 departments. I don’t compare between Faculties, according to me every facilities have good knowledge in their own department. All are good. In case of exams, there are 3 internal exam conducted by college and 1 and the final is university exam conducted by affiliated university of that college.

Night Life

3

Our nightlife activities includes Study and walking in terrace. Sometime fun with friends and nightout with friends. Our college has no gym. One cafeteria. One library. Timing of hostels to come in is around 9 O'clock PM.

MBBS is all about learning and exploring . Only choose this profession when you have a will to help others otherwise it would be a difficult course for you. The passing marks of examination is 50 and for that you need to study hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

-The MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) program is a highly sought-after degree that prepares students for a career in medicine. A key aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is its emphasis on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application. The inclusion of subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology provides a strong foundation for understanding the human body and its functions. Furthermore, the clinical rotations and internships allow students to interact directly with patients, giving invaluable hands-on experience. The curriculum is well-structured to equip students for real-world medical practice and further academic pursuits. Clinical postings in hospitals and exposure to different medical specialties enhance problem-solving and decision-making skills. The focus on research methodology also lays the groundwork for those interested in pursuing postgraduate studies or contributing to medical advancements. However, there are areas where the MBBS curriculum could improve. For instance, introducing more interactive teaching methods, such as case-based discussions and simulation labs, would better prepare students for complex clinical scenarios. Additionally, integrating modules on soft skills, such as communication and empathy, could enhance patient care. Exams are frequent, usually held at the end of each semester, with assessments ranging from theory papers to practical exams. While challenging, they are crucial for assessing a student’s knowledge and clinical aptitude. However, spreading out exams and providing more time for preparation could reduce stress and improve performance, ensuring a better learning experience overall. Cons are course length and also the difficulty level.
