What Students Say

Likes

The college environment is neat and clean.
College follows strict rules for minimum presenty of students i.e 80%.
One thing that is needed to be improved is student feels like they are in school till now. So needs to apply lesser strict rules.

Dislikes

Easiness should be given to student while paying college fees.
Flexible environment should be there for student.
College should lower their fees. Because lot of students come from weak financial conditions.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum has now outdated in most of engineering universities. When ever a student passes a college then they realize that they have to learn a lot to work in industries. They feels like they have watsed their time studying engineering.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement ratio are good. But your not placed to your relevant fileds. As a Civil Engineer some got placed in non- technical companies. There are very less Placement in relative fields. Although RCPIT provides good placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am come under OBC. So, I paid 50% i.e 60000. Fee can be paid in installments. Fee always needs to pay in form of Demand Draft. There are different fees for different caste student. Overa?l fees is 120000.

Campus Life

Infrastructure of RCPIT is really good. College environment is very strict. There are very less social involvement. There are no club in college campus. The campus is build in 25 Acres of land separated by a road that goes to a village.

Admission

RC Patel Institute of Technology has good reputation in terms of quality of education in maharashtra. It also provides placement to student after completing their education. I have also applied for SSVPS Dhule but college infrastructure and college environment is not good now. So I chose RCPIT over it.

Faculty

Faculties are really good. But they needed to follow strict rules imposed by superiors. Some professors are really good in behavior, I mean most of them. But some professor are egoest. They sometime harrass student to satisfy their egos.

Night Life

In night, It feels like we are living in a small village. Not that much of choices to eat food and snacks. Limited cafes that don't a good quality snacks and foods. There is a garden near by college that most explorable place of shirpur.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I have applied to lot of colleges like K.K wagh institute of technology, COEP but due to some circumstances I have taken admission in this college because this college is near by my hometown .
