Course Curriculum Overview

Our college good in both games and cultural activities (drawing, singing, dancing, painting, debate in both English and kannada language etc...,) and also participate in youthfest competing with other colleges of our university yealy once

Fees and Financial Aid

I will paying yearly around 33000(thirty three thousands) to my college excluding hostel fee and which is around 54000 (fifty four thousand) per anum and only eligible for state scholarship portal scholarship

Campus Life

Campus life is very thrilling and good vibe the campus having parks, gym, play grounds and very good environment for studies as well as health of students with shops are also nearer to hostel to buy something

Hostel Facilities

Boys hostel having good environment and clean, food is also good and eggs is there thrice in a week and feast is their in month end and chicken is provide once in a week and maintained properly and its good

Hostel Fee: INR 54000 per year

Admission

I choose thise college for good future and this dairy sector having least competition than other course and Karnataka having only two dairy science college and taking only limited admissions yearly around 75 members from both college

Faculty

College teaching faculties are good and specially Dr. PRAVEEN AR,Sir( assistant professor in technology department) he's very responsive and it's a four year course and having more than 35+ subjects and very interesting to learn

Night Life

Library is openes at morning 8 :00 AM and closes evening around 8:30 PM and canteen also their as well as nandini milk parlour and boys hostel closes at 10 : 00PM and maintenance of hostel are also good

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

You need to have secured 60% or 6/10 CGPA in the undergraduate programme from a recognized university.The percentage criteria for SC/ST students is 5.5/10 or 50%. In order to seek admission in my course you need to clear Common Entrance Test as conducted by KEA. The age limit of the candidate should not exceed beyond 17 years. There is also a 5% relaxation given to SC/ST candidate.Other than that you need to secure 50% marks in PCB in class 12th from a recognized board.English is also a compulsory subject.You can apply online for this course.
